It’s a weekend points-stravaganza as the votes in the OGAE Poll 2017 continue to roll in. OGAE Norway, OGAE Portugal and OGAE Rest of the World have revealed their points, and it’s good news for Montenegro. Slavko has doubled his points, while the UK is no longer at the bottom of the scoreboard. Let’s take a look!
OGAE Norway was first to reveal their votes. They gave 12 points to Italy, ten points to Estonia and eight points to France. Neighbouring Sweden only received six points, while Slavko’s wild world of “Space” earned Montenegro three points from Norway.
Next was OGAE Portugal, who had overall favourites in their top three — 12 points to Italy, ten points to France and eight points to Belgium. Some more Iberian realness was served with six points going to Finland, and four points going to the United Kingdom, resulting in a huge jump in points for Lucie Jones.
Finally OGAE Rest of the World revealed their points, representing all the Eurovision fans outside of Europe and Australia. Their dodici punti went to Italy, their dix points went to France and their åtta poäng went to Sweden. ROW was impressed enough by Svala to give Iceland four points, while they also had a single point for Montenegro.
On the overall scoreboard, Italy still has a very comfortable lead with 275 points, while Belgium is in second with 184 and Sweden is closely behind in third with 177 points.
Near the other end of the board, Iceland has more than doubled its points total from three to seven, now putting Svala in 22nd equal place, while Montenegro has gone from two to six points and is now in 24th place. The UK has said goodbye to the bottom of the scoreboard and now has a total of five points in 27th place.

These countries are yet to receive any points: Albania, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and Ukraine.
lol, I only come to the OGAE articles for the comments. They’re so funny to read! 😀 At this point we all pretty much know who’s top 10 in these polls! I am so glad the UK moved up though!!!! <3
for me the ogae are completely rubish. serbia and albania 0 points come on. ogae is failure
… How is Ukraine still at 0?
Ireland has given a point to Netherlands!!!! They beat Iceland to 10th place on the very last vote of the 50 voters, Crazy!!!
Of the others who haven’t got points – Germany came 16th. Slovenia came 28th. The rest were down the bottom.
Only Georgia, Lithuania and Ukraine got Nul points.
Could you guys please also make a total for ogae votes coming from just the countries that will be voting this year? That would be fun to know!
Italy is well on its way to getting a hundred points lead on the second place. The top 5 is already rock solid, there’s quite a sizeable difference in points between 5th (Estonia) an 6th (Bulgaria).
Speaking of Estonia, I continue to be astounded by their OGAE popularity. All the other top 5 songs were already known fan favourites, and while Estonia isn’t despised, it certainly has a lot of detractors. Maybe it really will be a dark horse (much as I hate it).
Italy is fairly slaying!!!
Geez…. Belgium still on top! lol Wonder if you guys have seen her live performance. The most weak vocals in the competition.
Totally agree!!! I think it is not her song!
She has charisma like potato.
The most pathetic person here look at her criticizing others entries but if somebody tell something bad about her gabbani she defends him pathetically, I m fed up with this kind of person
I talk about Rhaella of course, again an italian
And so what? I have a favourite accept Italy and it is not Belgium! And I’m not writing everywhere that Blanche is overrated and that she has a particular voice, in my opinion not good for that type of song with that particular low notes! So please shut up, I’m just saying an opinion withou hate, differently by what all Francesco haters are doing 😉 I’m in peace with myself 🙂
pathetic…
Wow suckman you’re really obsessed with Italians. You’re an OFH and you’d better get your shelter ready because Hurricane Francesco is coming for your wig in less than 3 weeks.
@ Polegena Godgarina
You could not express yourself better than this!! I totally agree!
There is some truth in that. Out of the top five, the other four countries all have good live performers. OGAE usually gets at least one of its top placings completely wrong. Am thinking it might be Belgium this year.
I don’t think she has bad vocals. She’s just not prepared yet for the big stage and to be in the Top 10 you cannot afford making mistakes.
Yeah. Bad live perfomance, no charisma and the song is plagiarism. Why is she still on the top?
Please watch out on stage in Kiev. You will be suprised. You can speak afther you see the preparing a few days before the semi-final. Lights, choreo, camera, decor…. She ends in top 3
She’s just 17. Every performance i see, she’s improving. I hope she’ll be ready in Kyiv because based on studio version alone, it’s the best entry.
I really love how OGAE Portugal has voted!
Some points went to U.K. luckily! Also my beloved Finland!
Top 3 was obvious!
I hope the poll result won’t be too far from the actual result! For me, Italy, France, Belgium together with Finland and Bulgaria have the best songs this year!
Also Estonia slays!! I really want this to be top 10!
Portugal also voted for the interesting Hungarian entry and Switzerland. Azerbaijan got 1 point!
I really love what Portugeuse fans voted!
Il in chock that Italy takes al 12s points. Its a cheap song. Im glad for them, if them win ogae poll, they not gonna winn Esc
You are deaf malignant person.
Ans shock not chock learn English
It is not a science that who wins OGAE polls won’t win eurovision. And btw there are some exceptions that makes your theory more nonsense: Rybak 2009, Loreen 2012, Emmelie 2013 just to do some examples! In your opinion this song is cheap and you don’t like it, but as we can see from results (the first in Eurovision history to reach 100 mlns viwes on YT before the show, first in odds, the first one in Eurovision history to gain triple platinum before the show, the most radio transmitted song in Europe in these weeks) he actually has a… Read more »
Good job pathetic watch dogs, but always the same arguments and we don’t care of his views etc… Be more original maybe
In the meanwhile you ass is burning seeing all of these polls! As I’ve already told you before, you are doing a good job! 😉
And you try to be less envious! I don’t know which song you do support but haters’ favourite songs never win, neither on stage nor in life!
It’s still beyond me how Albania,Moldova, Netherlands or Serbia have not received any points!
I completely agree… all 4 artists are such good acts and songs. And the lead of Italy is just insane…. I would say that ESC has an identity crisis and doesn’t even know it. Also the OGAE poll–who knows what political dynamics work behind the scenes….
…”political dynamics”? You’re in a totale paranoia!!!
Political dynamics is a very broad term… I am not talking about conspiracy theory, simply that you have to understand a structure or an organization to understand how decisions are made or why there are only 20 OGAE clubs, when there are 43 countries… or what the hell is the vote of “the rest of the world” and how it is calculated…. If you see paranoia in my comment, it is because of you, and not the comment.
Estonia in the 5th place and Serbia didn’t receive any points?
I really hope that Italy or Belgium won’t won because they are too overrated.
Watch my top 10 from Croatia:
https://youtu.be/hc4D4uqsNlQ
Yours is the worst top10 ever existed!!!
Let’s face it, Poland and Lithuania will get in the top 10 on the night based on televote alone
And lots of jury votes considering their amazing vocals and stage presence <3
I hope Lithuania will do well! For all their hate, they are one of my favorite songs and that woman can sing!
OGAE rest of world:
11. Portugal
12. Hungary
By the way aren’t there some troubles with this OGAE elite club? Looks like the Esckaz leader wasn’t agree with club politics during some negotiations.
I voted but my choices did not match the consensus!
Glad Slavko got some points!
A sneak peek of Armenia’s stand in rehearsal is revealed!!! Watch https://www.instagram.com/p/BTODOgJhiHj/?taken-by=eurovision.ua
Beautiful! can’t wait to see this live. I got a great feeling about Armenia this year
Me too, let’s wait and see <3
Dihaj will probably have this in the background

Oh interesting, can’t wait to see all the acts !!!
They need to sweep that floor
hey thanks for sharing this! more please!!
Dear @fikri

And for more photos and videos like this you can follow “eurovision.ua” on instagram and twitter ;D
it looks like the logo of this year, in the colors of the Ukrainian flag… Are u sure this is Armenia’s staging? On the second picture, the globe on the background could be Belgium too, they had something similar in ‘The voice Belgique’ last week.
Yes, I think that’s Belgium too.
Thanks for sharing.
@Stan
Armenian rehearsal is the one above. https://www.instagram.com/p/BTODOgJhiHj/?taken-by=eurovision.ua
The second one I shared for @fikri only for interest.
Yes, it.s Armenia. I didn’t notice it was a little movie 🙂
Looks great, Indeed! Armenia knows how to stage. I still love the performance from Iveta last year.
What a joke! Can we please get over this. I waiting for the actual results to see all the Eurovision faithful fans cry 😀 😀 😀
Joke for you because your favourite did not get much points ???? ???? ????
@ OGAE
of course!! He is just envious 😉
Still stunned by the popularity of Estonia’s entry, but, hey, good luck to them. I’m more surprised that the Netherlands are yet to receive a single point and the UK is languishing down at the bottom of the pack. I don’t think this poll is necessarily going to be reflected in the final results; sadly, I’m less and less convinced that Belgium will even be in the final looking at the recent live performances.
I keep finding myself humming Verona despite not listening to it very often so there must be a strong hook in there! I do quite like the song but I found their national final performance a bit dull.
I think that Top 5 are more than obvious at this point. I mean, it’s a toss between Sweden and Belgium for a second place, but they will form a top 3 with Italy in the front. I am glad Finland is so high and I am also glad UK moved forward. Out of 0-pointers, I’d like if Moldova and Malta receive at least something before this is over.
France can be in top three too
Technically yes, but less likely. Still, 4th spot is really good. Ukraine won last year from the 9th.
why less likely?
Because there is 25 points between them and Sweden and that would imply that in the next few countries France gains a lot and Sweden little to no points. Looking the pattern so far, it seams less likely. Still, good luck to France. I like their song more than the Swedish one.
Who will vote for France after these Frexit elections?
There will be no frexit ………
me too, however I prefer to say that is likely for France to be in top three because there are only 25 pts, 20 countries remaining to vote and France is the only country who have already voted among the top five, so you know what it means 😉
Has this voting already ended? Since the rest of the world has already voted?
Ukraine was different thing. Her live performance was incredibile.
what do you want to mean?
belgium and sweden in live are very average , Italy and France SLAY in live, so your comment is out I think,
Finland also SLAYS live! 😉 I do also like Italy and France though! 🙂
bengston was choosen by international juries just because they thought he can’t win and it will be more easy to beat him, they have right, bengston is physically bland and uninteresting, his gaze is empty, and his personality is flat….
How could you tell something like that? Do you know him personally?
Stop spreading hate kile that omg
I have seen him in preparty, in interview, on stage, singing, he has nothing to give he is completely empty, bengston is flat and empty , and so what ? live with that.
Then why doyou care about him and comment about him… You are scared… Yeah
I have the right to make my opinion and to say my opinion without to be scared of whatever, I comment is third place here if you are not happy don’t read my comment.
I see nothing wrong with Robin, he is open, he speaks with everybody, or do you hate him because he is engaged ?
Don’t want to bring Gabbani in this, but really, on Eurovision site there are almost no videos that include Gabbani, why go to preparties if you don’t speak too much with international media?
gabbani for me is arrogant, he knows he is the favourite, and his moralist song don’t please me, but I have the right to give my opinion about bengston too, so I don’t like both that’s the life.
Fine, but I think Robin is a normal guy, nothing more and nothing less, and his personality is just fine.
Is all right not to like his performance, but as a person I see nothing wrong with him.
Peace.
@Leonida
Francesco doesn’t speak English very well but he tries!! And there are videos with him if you search for them! 😉
Anyway as we can see from his live performances videos that probably he doesn’t even need to speak English ’cause he bewitched the audience! He stole everybody’s heart! 😉
Deal with the fact he is the favourite and most of people (as this polls show) love his song!
Blab bla bla, bla bla bla, bla bla bla
You are definitely entitled to your own opinion but I do don’t see why you think Francesco is arrogant! I rather enjoy his personality. However, I do see where you are coming from with Robin. He doesn’t have much of a personality. At least not publicly, but that might just be his public face and I’m sure in his private life he is much different! 🙂
Your wigs will throw you away. The wigs are smart and they don’t need your heads.
we have already the top 5 I think, good news for france and belgium but sweden….I can’t understand the hype about this song, if it wasn’t a sweden entry he would never get so much points, moreover he doesn’t know sing in live and I don’t like his behavior, his style, and how he talks and walks.
Well I can’t understand the hype with Portugal. I find that whole song genre dated, his style dirty, the way he talks annoying and I can’t understand what he’s singing about because I don’t speak Portuguese.
The difference is I don’t look down on people who do like him, it’s all different taste.
If you don’t know how he is singing about because it is in Portuguese, explain me ths hype on Italy!??? Google and wiwibloggs have the translation so …
You can find the lyrics to the Italian song on his official video posted online. It’s clear what he sings about. No need to use Google..
“The difference is I don’t look down on people who do like him, it’s all different taste.” But you look down on the Portuguese man and talk very rudely about him. That is very bad. He is human, too.
Denis is a big fan of bengston so you can see his level !!! Very low ! so don’t pay attention at him he is too stupid.
Maybe if some of “fans” on here, including you, didn’t go to verbal attack against anybody who dares to like Swedish entries as if it’s a mortal sin, you wouldn’t be attacked yourself. Like every time someone posts “Sweden should win” there are always people posting stuff like “you must be dumb” or “clean your ears”. No other entry gets that kind of response. So what do you expect us to do, just shut up and take it? I mean people don’t go around calling fans of Romania’s silly little yodel entry “dumb”, or calling fans of Germany’s tipped to… Read more »
You certainly have a point! I am guilty of this too but I just have such a passionate dislike for the song “I can’t go on”. I forget sometimes that not everyone likes what I like and I think we all do sometimes. 🙂
and you aren’t any less of a person for liking that song, I just don’t see the appeal. 🙂 By all means, keep liking what you like and keep supporting what you like! 😀
Italy is only 13 points off the maximum at this point. Also Estonia leaving everyone BALD, I’m shook at talent prevailing.
I’m shocked and shaken by your bad English persisting.
Search “shook” on the urban dictionary lmao it’s 2017
Impatiently waiting for the daily dude who will come here to post all previous OGAE rankings and compare them with the Eurovision rank, and will finish off with a “OGAE is bullsh*t!”
Bless his heart. OFH never win 🙂
I’m from sweden and I’m really surprised that Robin is on third place. I like Robin as a person and the song is ok! But not top 3!
Maby ESC fan i OGEA like Robin from last year in the melfest whith constulation price and maby that helps Robin? Can that be the thing? I don’t think that ordinary telewoters will help us to a third place! Top 10 maby?
Are you sure you are from Sweden? Swedes normally speak English quite well and you really don’t. I mean, who is this Maby person?
: )
Yes I am from sweden and I know that my english is terrible! But I know that ESC fans are so nice and tolerant so I don’t care! I speak My mind anyway and hope someone understand wath I’m trying to say!
But I understand that it can be annoying! Sorry! : /
But I will continue to write! : )
@Are you allright
My iPad allso changes the worlds sometimes and than I miss it! I have a little dyslexia.
Well if you are from Sweden you shouldn’t be surprised. Sweden always do well and this year we will do even better than Frans. Simply because we have support from both juries and OGAE
Japp Denis!
It’s a very slick pop tune, that’s always going to do well in Eurovision. A bit too slick for my liking but I get why it’s popular. I reckon top 5 in the gran final.
italy– winner winner chicken dinner.
