The votes in the OGAE Poll 2017 continue to roll in. And while it’s still to early to call the outright winner, things are certainly getting interesting as OGAE Ireland, OGAE Estonia and OGAE Azerbaijan deliver their points. Australia received points from all three clubs, while Ireland has put OG3NE on the scoreboard with one point. Let’s take a look!
First was OGAE Ireland, who give their 12 points to Italy, their ten points to Estonia and their eight points to Belgium. Ireland also had a five-point boost for Australia, and they were kind enough to throw a single point to the Netherlands, ensuring that OG3NE would not be without points in the OGAE poll.
Next up was OGAE Estonia. They had 12 points to give to Italy, ten points for Sweden and eight points for Bulgaria. Estonia also had some Baltic love for Finland, with six points going to Norma John. They also had four points for Australia and three points for Austria.
Finally it was time for OGAE Azerbaijan to reveal their votes. They stuck with the big favourites of the OGAE poll – 12 points to Italy, ten points to Sweden and eight points to France. Azerbaijan also gave seven points to Australia, meaning Isaiah now has a total of 25 points overall.
On the overall scoreboard, Italy has cracked the 300-points mark and comfortably holds the lead with a total of 311. Belgium is still in second place with 205 points, but Sweden is just one point behind in third place with 204 points. Can Sweden make it to second place?
The Netherlands is out of the zero zone and joins the scoreboard with their single point. But it’s Australia who has enjoyed the biggest leap. Their points total has almost tripled, from nine points to 25, and Isaiah is now sitting in 13th= place.

Your place is valueble for me. Thanks!…
If Ireland fails to give the UK points then it shows the UK is utterly and truly DOOMED!! 🙁
I’m Irish and I love the UK entry, I think it is wildly underrated! The kids love Italy but I will never want to hear it again once this is all over. I also predict Belarus to do well from the public vote – what’s not to like about it?
What’s with this late surge for Australia?
Sweden and Italy are so overrated this year! The Swedish singer is a wannabe Justin Timberlake with a generic, bland song and the only thing the Italian song has going for it is that it’s catchy. At least I can give Italy props that they’re not doing a song in English but I’m still really hoping another country wins besides these two. France seems like a good competitor!
Yes, but the other songs are garbage.
@Sass
Ha ha! Love u
Its all pretty pointless…the girls from OG3NE are going to blow everyone away with their bubbly live performance!
Of course they will! They are in perfect harmony with eachother and the staging will finish it!
OGAE members is nothing but a bunch of frustrated and bitter gay men. They votes are irrelevant
Something against gay men? Then you shouldn’t visit this website. You shouldn’t even watch Eurovision, equality is very important in the Contest.
Now STFU and get out.
I hope people will be tired of Italy’s entry by the time the Eurovision begins. Overhyped mediocre song.
ITALY: Already more than 100.000.000 views!!!
Keep on hating…
But that’s what I’m counting on – that people have watched this gorilla dance for so many times that everyone’s tired of it by the start of real competition. Also, quality isn’t measured by view count, otherwise gangnam style and bieber wouldn’t be so popular 😛
Sass, go away hater. Your comment is medicore.
LOL and no, it’s… HAAARDCOORE!!
With your hate you are just making people love this song much more and more!! You are not doing well your intent ;)))
Thank you for the compliment, I’m really flattered that you think I have such a tremendous influence on the results of Eurovision but I really think you overestimate me.
People will be like: “you know, they are going to win so we should vote for other countries so they can get a decent place.”
Every one took a vote and decided they were all gonna give Italy first place! xD I do like the song but seriously, everybody’s favorite?
This is insane… I can understand such a uniform vote for let’s say Rising Like Phoenix, but for this… There is something rotten in Denmark, I mean in OGAE…
You guys really can not accept this right?! Deal with it 😉
If somebody cannot accept opinions, it is the Italians. Additionally, the sense of entitlement and superiority that it implied in most Italian posts is turning many non Italian voters off. Remember, you have to be voted best by other countries. You and Francesco can get some clues from Alma who is not trying to push her song down viewers throats. Additionally, none of the other top contenders has this kind of extremely rude supporters. Of course, rudeness is not limited to any nationality or group, but with Italians it really stands out as they do not state opinions or make… Read more »
Eva M did not express an opinion only offended and this difference. Cultural opinion everyone has the right to express, but insults are different.
Italy’s song is a big piece of trash that makes no sense but ofc everyone loves it bc it’s upbeat. Francesco cannot even speak English properly and his accent is annoying af. The gorilla is another ridiculous gimmick. Only the juries can save us from this tragedy winning
This is only interesting proposal for Eurovision and thats cause why people love this song. The other songs are boring English ballads
As I said before, you like it only because it’s uptempo trash and you can’t live without meaningless uptempo trash.
@Katy Greece’s song is uptempo trash, not this.
TRUE!
You are so right! I received so much hate on youtube for criticize him for his bad english, in an interview he said “credo che” instead of “I believe” after saying something in english.
Celebrate diversity!
Prerequisite: Good English skills required.
Francesco can’t speak english perfectly but …can the other contestant speak italian? He already speaks the most beautful and sexy language on earth so he doesn’t need to speak english!!!
What? It makes no sense? read the Lyrics please.
But hey, you can hate it. I hate other Songs too. 😉
Brrrrr you need lot of water my darling, envy is burnig you…….. be patient dear, the fire will finish to invest you in few weeks, prrrrrr!!
A big piece of trash that makes no sense? Hahaha, ok, if you say so… This is one of the song with the most witty lyrics in Esc history (I’m pretty sure you haven’t even bother to look up for the meaning, so it’s a bold affermation to say that something doesn’t have a meaning because you can’t undertsand it). And it’s a song contest, so no one (a part you and a couple of hater who is trying to find everything to demolish the current favourite) will judge the fact he can’t speak English when he doesn’t even sing… Read more »
English skills are required to win the contest?! Ahahahah yours is just envy!! You all haters are making me laugh so hard!!! You don’t know what to invent to insult him anymore ;’) you’re becoming so repetitive and ridiculous
Eva M did not express an opinion only offended and this difference. Cultural opinion everyone has the right to express, but insults are different.
Rly? What people see in this Italian song? Uhm, okay, I know it can be likeable, but every club is giving him first place? In my top it’s like 20. I really hope it will be max at 3 place in the grand final. Comparing this song to Loreen, Lena it’s so bad. Good luck anyway for everyone.
I think it’s a weak year. Francesco’s song is good and would have strong competition if we were in 2014/2015/2016. That’s why Italy is easily standing out this year.
Plus, many people are supporting non-English songs this year, specially because there hasn’t been any winner song without English lyrics since Molitva.
One hundred of the same ballads in English, nothing special. But do not enumerate.
Loren cant sing.
Loreen and Lena are horrible !
Lena and Loreen had the worst voices ever in the competition ..by far!
Really?? You think satellite is better than Occidentali’s Karma??
Go Israel!
7th place!!
The Ireland vote was very exciting. There were 50 jurors and Estonia were leading until around the 12th juror and thenItaly pulled away. finland were 4th at one point too. Netherlands were in top 10 until the 47th juror and then Iceland overtook them but then Netherlands got 8 points from our head of delegation which brought them back to 10th! The final scores were Italy 379 Estonia 243 Belgium 213 Sweden 206 Bulgaria 149 Australia 142 Macedonia 135 Finland 134 Portugal 127 Netherlands 84 Iceland 80 Austria 67 France 65 Norway 64 Azerbaijan 62 Germany 59 UK 58 Israel… Read more »

My favourites songs this year are
Uk
Danemark
Sweden
Netherlands
Bulgaria
Israel
Switzerland
Romania
France
And who cares about it?
No need to be nasty, that’s bad spirit
I doubt that Azerbaijan will give 12 pts to Italy in the Final.
They gave Grande amore 10 points in televote in 2015, and the 12 went to Russia which isn’t competing this year, so Occidentali’s Karma might get Azerbaijan’s 12 televote points.
Only if Belarus doesn’t qualify. But Sweden and Ukraine are options as well. Ukraine wasn’t in the 2015 Final.
There is ABSOLUTELY no way Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine or Armenia give 12 points to Francesco…. Grande Amore is in a completely different league and quality music. To give Italy 12 points will be like insulting their own superior singers…. Of course, you need to understand the culture there to see that. I actually think that ehen it comes to jury and televote, there will be many other surprises–including the Scandinavian countries and central and eastern Europe (Poland, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Chech Republic, etc.) who will “surprisingly” deflect from Francesco… but let’s see:-)
I’m really surprised that the UK, Ireland and even Georgia haven’t scored better with the OGAE. The UK is polling mostly middle table in a lot of other polls and even in the betting odds.
Ireland has massively improved their game this year with a very credible ballad yet it still languishes near the bottom. I’d like to hope they’ll at least qualify and we’ll see the UK do better in the final.
YEAHII !!! One point for the Netherlands! Go girls!
Italy is getting what he deserves!!! Unstoppable Francesco!! :))))
finally Netherlands 1 point 🙂
They can now “cry no more.” 🙂
haha, oh i’m happy for my country with that 1 point
but the entire top 8 so overrated with the OGAE but that’s me personally
i like where Hungary, Romania stand 15th and 17th not overhyped by OGAE which is a good thing for me 🙂
The Netherlands is not your country and you are Aria, Rhaella, Cassandra, Tazmanian DeMoon, Moonlight, and many others and you keep stealing names. You need to find a job, at 50 y/o man, is time to do that.
I’m getting really tired of posts about this name trolling and random accusations. This is not what we’re here for. If you have genuine complaints, e-mail Wiwibloggs or the authorities.
Do you say that name trolling isn’t real, or what happened to L’oiseau? Its easy to look at the avatar.
Or what happened at San Marino article. Somebody is making fun of you and you choose to be blind and to talk about authorities, as if…
Netherlands is my country, i’m so sick that i’m being mistaken for a troll, i hate Tazmanian DeMoon he brings shame on Romania
anonymous91 is my only profile here, i am 25 years old, not 50, i feel so upset right now
It’s clear that you are liked here, so keep doing what you’re doing.
thank you, I absolutely love wiwibloggs, and i have respect for other members on here, nothing is personal what i write 🙂
They’re so cute!!!! They deserve more and more!!!
top 6 of azerbaijan are western european countries… that’s cool– but most likely won’t happen on the grand final in may tho.
Estonia is Western Europe? That makes Eastern Europe very small…
OGAE Germany also has there say. Belgium recieve 10 points and Sweden 8, that makes Belgium 215 points and sweden 209. Thank you OGAE Germany.
What kind of filthy lie. Estonia got Germany’s 8 points, while Sweden’s song got 5. France got 7, and Portugal 6.
can you please react in a good way, instead of blaming that I’m a layer. I was mistake, oke, but that’s no reason to call me a layer. Oke? I now You are a really big fan of the monkey song, but that is no reason to react like that.
A layer? Are you a tiramisu?
and are you monkey and that’s why you like the monkey dance? Stop with attacking other people and have respect for everyone.
You have the sense of humor of a tiramisu omg
Obviously not, since tiramisu’s can’t write blog comments. (It’s “liar,” not layer.)
Layer means Laying hens .lol
They still didn’t publish an article, but you can see that today OGAE Germany was voting too, and they gave their 12 points to Italy too. Wew
Yeah forgot the link sorry

8 TO ESTONIA
TALENT ONLY <3
I’m sure Estonia will have a good show! Estonias tv contacted Crister Björkman a year ago and wanted suggestions on good producera and stage direktors. The swedes Filip Adamo and Rennie Mirro, finally got the task! AND THEY ARE SO GOOD!
För swenska läsare! http://www.aftonbladet.se/nojesbladet/a/AaKGz/svenska-duon-ska-satta-stopp-for-robin-bengtsson-i-eurovision
So is this the OGAE record for Italy?
Sweden will win! Best song!
Tackar!
Literally only 4 countries didn’t give Italy 12 points so far, and it got no less than 7 points from any of them. Wigs from all over the world will be flying to Italy in less than 3 weeks. Get ready for Hurricane Francesco, y’all.
Also, my fave Estonia keeps snatching points left and right. I didn’t expect yet another set of 10 points, especially from Ireland! <3
Even more shocking: Ireland gave the UK nothing at all!! ZERO points for Lucie Jones, who was popular on their TVs on The X Factor! Hmmm.
I guess the Irish voted for the songs and not for the artists! 😀
Either that, or it was because of Brexit. 😀
Y’all need to stop it with Brexit, we don’t hate you for that. In Italy the popular opinion is that we’re better off without you, so it won’t do damage to your Eurovision outcome.
Italy doesn’t speak for Ireland.
UK did very well in the Irish vote – they came 17th which is very respectabe. they got one 12, one 8 but the rest was mostly 1-5
I saw her staging in Kiev – stand rehearsal. And I expected something better and darker than blue colors.
Oops, I answered to bad comment, sorry.
Oop. Belgium keeps canceling itself for the joy of the #MafiaDiVerona 😀
Oh no! Well there’s still time to improve the staging.
you need to calm down with the drag race references, henny. 🙂
@Fikri: I have already told Polegend to tone it down, but he doesn’t listen to me. 🙁
Not on my clock, hunTy 🙂
Shut up Aunty.
Yayyyyy go Francesco!!!! #TeamItaly #lascimmianudaballa
Watch out for Blanche, because she will slay in kiev.
Only thing she will slay is the audience’s ears
My ears lived through her London performance. She’s better than you think.
She has the stage presence of a toaster and the expressiveness of a rhinestone.
Rediculously inaccurate.
exactly, Blanche disappoints me with her really boring stage presence, while City Lights is a cool song
And you have the presence of a monkey, that’s why you like the monkey song. Stop being hatered against others.
Blanche, Alma, Kristian–the new and exciting generation of multiculural Europeans, each of them speaking several languages, comfortable within different cultures, bringing new fresh sound and hope…. And Blanche and Kristian are young enough to be Franchesco’s children…. Many people will find them more interesting than an Italian song from the 80ies, with perhaps clever lyrics and funny monkey on stage….
Why would wigs be flying? Francesco chooses to keep his hair like that!! He isn’t balding
Hahaaa! 😀 Thanks @Aria for the funniest Wiwi comment of the year! 😀
Seriously though, this RuPaul corruption of the English language should be banned in the name of good taste.
Interesting to see Australia get a big boost, all of a sudden.
Maybe OGAE reads wiwijury and was convinced by the positive reviews.
That shows how influential wiwibloggs is. If really happened that way.
Hahaha! Oh no, I hope not! 😮
