The OGAE Poll 2017 continues and next to reveal their points are OGAE Andorra and OGAE Greece. And both the microstate and the sunny Mediterranean country had some love for their neighbours, giving points to France and Cyprus respectively. No such luck for Andorra’s neighbour Spain, however. Let’s take a look!
OGAE Greece was first to reveal their points. Their favourites reflected some of the overall faves in the OGAE Poll 2017: 12 points to Italy, ten points to France and eight points to Estonia. Away from the top, Greece also had two points for neighbouring Cyprus and one point for Azerbaijan.
The microstate of Andorra might have last competed in Eurovision in 2009, but OGAE Andorra is going strong. They gave 12 points to Italy, ten points to Belgium and eight points to Sweden. Neighbouring France also picked up seven points from Andorra, but the microstate didn’t have any points for Spain‘s Catalan artist Manel Navarro.
On the overall scoreboard, things are very stable. Italy still leads with 371 points, Belgium is second with 257 points, and Sweden is third with 243. Rounding out the top five is France on 205 points and Estonia on 175.
The only change in rank has gone to Cyprus. Their two points from Greece was enough to move them from 22nd place to 21st — small but significant.
There are 11 OGAE clubs still to reveal their votes, including the heavy hitters from EC Germany, OGAE United Kingdom and OGAE Sweden. The results will continue to be released this week.

Some thoughts about our poll (OGAE Greece):
I agree with 12p(Italy),10 p(France) and 8p(Estonia)!
We gave Cyprus only 2 points? That was a shock! Ok, I didn’t expect 12p, but at least 6 or maybe 7! Meditterenean realness in 7p(Portugal) and 3 p.(Israel)
and some neighbouring love in 4p(Bulgaria).
Generally, it was more or less obvious!
In OGAE Andorra, between France and Spain, they prefered France!
Also, I think I watch more or less the same countries in most polls, but in a different order every time!
Cyprus get’s 2 points from Greece and that’s enough for Wiwi to turn it into a headline about neighbourly love :)))
If we look San Remo result Gabanni win televote first time in final in first and second round of voting..At beggining tili final he always finished on 3 or 4 place in televote. In first evening when he first time performed song he finished on 4 place in televote. And many viewers watch only Eurovision final.
When not even Andorra can be bothered to vote for us, it’s a sign that we Spaniards have done something terribly, terribly wrong with our song this year…
salvador just said francesco’s song is his favorite. despite the fact is not his type of music he thinks its funny, the lyrics are clever and francesco is awesome.?
Correct. As a matter of fact he said that Ocidental’s Karma is one of the few entries which he can relate to. The rest? Not so much. He described the rest as hamburgers.
More points for Mr. Salvador. Not that i care about OGAE but it seems surprising this spread of love for Portugal. Usually they have a bad taste!
The fact that OGAE likes Portugal,is a bad sign.
@ Alma fan LOL
I hope not tho 😛
The fact that even the OGAE’s love that song is a great sign imo
Could Spain finish last in the final this year?
Spain and Germany are the main contenders.
Apart from London, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Germany promoted in FYROM, Georgia, Armenia, I don’t think will be last.
In the same time, I like Manel, and 100% believe that Manel and his song were the right choice in National Final.
My cold, rational prediction is that UK will be last, but I hope for something more…unexpected.
UK last – Is that because of Brexit?
Would be very interesting to learn what your calculations are based on.
And once again…
Greece=Taste all the way! Classy 😀
Four beatiful songs in the first places…
I knew Southern Europe wouldn’t put me down 🙂
Thank you very much from all the fab four, Greece!
Francesco has already won OGAE and 10 countries are still missing LMAO

Thank you Andorra and thanks to Greece to give to her Mediterranean sisters the most points. <3
Why is Latvia so low?… Surprising for me…
Where are the points for Nathan?
There is a great new cover from him of Elhaida Dani’s I am alive
? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=seHbX3y7D3o?
Didn’t know that the song was that good. -thanks Nathan!
Israel in 8th? .-. So frickin overrated, it’s such a trashy pop song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmpc3fcrNJQ National Final Performance live Italy – its fantastic, the best song.
I seriously don’t get what do people see in the Italian song. It’s actually the worst entry they’ve had since they re-joined and the song is as rubbish as it gets. I can see it winning JESC but that’s as far as I’d rate it. I wouldn’t even put in the final at all, let along to win. I hope it will be a different story at the final night.
Yes!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t agree more, Ljuben! 🙂 so happy 🙂
Wiwi jury posted their reviews of Italy yesterday. There you can find out what they see in Italy’s entry.
Now you might nor agree with them, but you’ll learn something about why many like it.
I have listen on wiwijurys rewiv, but sorry, no!
But I respect that it maight win and that many love it. Many ESC fans will wote for it, but will all the other that listen to the song for the first time at the final for the first time and have no idé Why there is a gorilla on the stage and don’t understand a word italian?
I agree partially. It was fun to listen to when it came out because it has decently catchy melody HOWEVER I got bored of it sooooo quickly. Their are a few other songs who are equaly as catchy and I haven’t got bored of.
For some reason I also can’t stand his live vocals…I feel like his vocals will let his song down so much with the juries…
This is no hate comment but just my opinion.
I hope for a win (ofcourse) for my country Belgium or if that is not the case Bulgaria
Greetings
I love Belgium’s entry this year maybe Brussels2018 or Sofia2018
Bulgaria is weak, very very weak. And song is dated, that kind of songs are top once. And Belgium is live vocally very weak too. Song is good but not oryginall.
I think you will be suprised by her vocals in 2 weeks Bartek. Bulgaria’s song is dated? How is it dated?
Also, yeah I was speaking about that performanced you linked lol
Still do not like his vocals here…
In any case I believe the contest isn’t won yet. Italy doesn’t have this in the bag yet…
Yes, dated. I have hard tousends of similar songs in the past. Clon with a weak voice. Such ballads were trendy once. Now there are trendy songs in Frans style, short notes.
Italians song I remembered, and others forget about five minutes after listening. Clones
escfanBelgium
Belgium is best! I think that Belgium will get high points from us in sweden if she delivers at stage!
Look at National Final Performance, its fatnastic ! The live version is much better than video clip. The best song !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmpc3fcrNJQ National Final Performance live Italy – its fantastic, the best song.
Well, i think that the Italian song wouldn’t even go to the final in the swedish national selection! BUT! we have diffrent tast in europé!
Italy should win 2016, NOT this year!
Sorry but Francesca Michelin was horrible, stage straigh, weak voice and weak song for children.
Well, yes she was insecure, but I loved the song so much! If she would have been in the semi, then she might have done better live performance.
I mean, a better live performance at the final.
Sorry for my bad english! Got a little dyslexia and my english is terrible.
But this year is about diversity, so maby I will be excused ; )
MS, your english is not bad.
Francesca Micheling horrible???? what????????????
Sorry I mean she had a big stage fright like Blanche from Belgium.
Do you know a song in Spanish called “Despacito” (which is fun and catchy) is the most popular song in Sweden right?
And then we see every year all melfest rejects at the bottom of Swedish televote.
Sweden like the rest of Europe will love Occidentali’s Karma 🙂
Really? That’s wonderful, so happy for my fellow Puerto Rican’s Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee 🙂
Check out the video for the song and you can see my beautiful island that I call home Puerto Rico 🙂
Wow Greece’s top points. What a tasteful country, no wonder it’s my favorite in the world apart from my own <3
Alma will be alone on stage.
Good luck for Manel, I want so much for him to do well.
Wrong!!! There will be dancers flying and dancing like The promotional video !! (Source: Eurovision French Delegation)
Italy will be the biggest flop of the year and their will be a surprise winner:)
And why say that? Do you have proof to support your claim? Or are you another butthurt person denying Italy’s massive lead currently? We get it. Italy’s not your numero uno, but there’s no need to constantly hate
Sorry DragonairZ but it was just my opinion and I apologize if affended you
I think you could be right, but impossible to say. I can see a winner that no one talks about now. But no idea who.
Thank you Jaccobabe I apriciate your opinion I’m glad someone supports my opinion! 🙂
Karen you jealous hater.
While I would like a different winner (Portugal or Sweden), I think Italy have this wrapped up. Better to accept it now.
Totaly agree with you.
Thank you Win 🙂
*Wim
Not Italy getting people butthurt 3 weeks before the contest itself lmao accept it already, Italy has very high chances to win
Yes that would be great maybe Albania for a change? Thanks Dylan! 🙂
I like Albania very much, but I think that it is a song you have to listen at many times.
Thank you MS #TIRANA2018 🙂
Karen you are deaf I am sorry.
Excuse me Bartek I think you are the one hear that is deaf! 🙁
You are deaf because Italy has a great song. Look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmpc3fcrNJQ. Thousands of the same English ballads in the Eurovisiona are boring clones.
Italy is my 42nd, sorry- my winners are Bulgaria and Albania! 🙂
You like music for children ok, tastes do not discuss. Peace
OK fare enough Bartek you like old person music and we both have different opinions and that’s fine. Peace
In ogae clubs are sitting old people? Take the message that the Italian song likes most people, jealousy is not good it destroys you.
42nd? Then Italy is your second, lol
LOL, Bartek, if there is one song this year that is for infants, that is Italy’s. “The naked gorilla is dancing” 😀
I have problem to see ordinary people here in sweden to prick upp their phone and wote for italy if it is the first time they hear the song first time in the Grand final. Italy may do well in many countries but I don’t think Italy will get high points from sweden. When I, my mother, my 8 year daughter and some friends listend at the song first time, all of us couldn’t belive that this song was at the top. I can appriciate the song better when I saw the video and understod the message. But I don’t… Read more »
I respect your opinion, but according to you, we should put away our identity and language and sing in english so your mother and daughter can vote for us?????
Why an italian composer should limitate its creativity writting its emotions and notes in english???? Which is not its native language.
Sweden have decided to win ESC each year by sending songs in english. Perfect. It is up to you.
We are not. Who cares if you win or not. We keep our identity and originality.
Let it go, nudiecrudi, these are things that countries with weak idendity, above others, can’t understand.
The countries who chose to send song in 100% english just to increase the possibilities of victory are like anglo-colonials. And not only they sing in english but also imitate the worst radio commercial trash of overseas.
Nudicrudi! Me, and me daughter loved El vivo. My swedish, at the time 6 year old daughter thought Italy or Australia should win 2015, not Måns and she doesen’t understand non of the languages. My favorite last year was Italy, but I didn’t like the part when she was singing in english. First time I heard Italy this year was the reaktion, what??? I think it is better now wen I understand it and it has grown. I ment when I made a comment about the language this year, was that I think that many people like this song becouse… Read more »
Read more »
Waiting for sockman to reply a hate comment against Robin’s non-existent dislike against France
