They won big at the German national final. With only a few more weeks to go until the grand final, Sisters are busy preparing. Earlier this month, their performance at ZDF Fernsehgarten on Gran Canaria got premiered.

Similar to their national final performance, the two are standing on a platform — this one however isn’t moving. In the beginning, they’re separated from each other. But as the song evolves, they get closer and the bond between Laurita and Carlotta becomes more obvious.

As the stage is rather small, there wasn’t too much going on. However, the camera work gave a brief impression of what could happen in Tel Aviv. Besides, they’re clearly able to nail it without any special effects. That’s to be taken for granted after that performance!

ABOUT ZDF FERNSEHGARTEN

Besides, there’s not much to be said about the vocal performance. Usually, the singers use playback at the ZDF Fernsehgarten shows. Nevertheless, Germany’s Sisters did a great job. Consider it another opportunity to perform and rehearse the song in a great location!

The performance was recorded a few weeks back in March. Just recently, the duo went to Israel for their postcard shoot. Moreover, they also experienced Israeli nightlife. Looks like they’ve definitely enjoyed their trip to Tel Aviv!

Warning: This comment contains sarcasm. Wow, they were on the “Fernsehgarten”. Great. I might be very mean here, but the “Fernsehgarten” is a show for old white people who probably die soon. A completely irrelevant program, produced for our disproportionate number of old people. Otherwise, the “S!sters” are pretty much dead in the German media. I have not seen them on any relevant TV program or in any big news (till now) after the selection debacle. Speaking of the selection again: What the North German Broadcaster (NDR) produced there – as a so called “national selection” – was a total… Read more »

I watched the vlog. Pasta is an ok choice when you don’t know where to go/what to get but Tel Aviv has so many exquisite options food-wise. True testament to the diversity of Israelis. In Shuk al Karmel market they sell this this savory crepe you can customize, eg trained yoghurt, fresh cucumber, fresh tomato, herbs, super, super delicious. Also there is a hummuseria, a hummus place, a bowl of hummus with several topping options – fava beans, boiled egg, pickled cucumbers, pickled hot peppers, olives, tomato, onion, fresh parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, it comes with two freshly baked… Read more »

thats true, but it’s fernsehgarten-tradition. reason for the playback is the complexety of the show (it’s weekly a few hours, there is no time for soundchecks or rehersals). some evil tongues would say, that the majority of participating artists (schlager and “volksmusik”) are never singing live because they can’t :p but i would say that this argument is incorrect for our Sisters ;P cheers and TGIF GUYS <3 <3 <3
