We were teased with the possibility of incoming artist reveals just a few days ago. And now the organisers behind the London Eurovision Party are delivering the goods! On Tuesday they confirmed that Samanta Tina will bring Latvian realness — and, we suspect, plenty of fringed clothing — to the pre-party event in London’s West End. Her energetic and dubstep-tinged entry “Still Breathing” will surely make Café de Paris shake!

Samanta’s Eurovision song is already proving to be a huge hit with fans. She has been taking in plenty of love on social media, with many preparing themed outfits for events such as LEP based on her staging from Supernova. The strong sound and THAT drop are unforgettable. We wouldn’t expect anything less from songwriter and former Eurovision participant Aminata Savadogo! Her futuristic sounds have included 2015’s “Love Injected” and 2016’s “Heartbeat”. Both are considered being huge success stories for the Baltic nation.

During the national final performance, Samanta was joined on stage by three backing singers wearing black leotards (rendering them objects of desire) accessorised with head visors and pink bottles of household cleaner (alluding to domestic workers). It’s a deliberately snarky pairing that hints at the message she’s poised to drop. Will we see this in London?

More London Eurovision Party announcements incoming…!

Her confirmation comes after the announcement of SuRie as co-host a day earlier. The UK’s 2018 representative will sing a few tunes of her own (and without any stage invaders this time). She’s stepping in for regular host and costume-change connoisseur Nicki French, who is away touring with the musical “Cruising Through Menopause”.

We expect another three performers to be announced in the coming days, one every day until Friday. It’s tradition at London Eurovision Party to have a mix of acts old and new. We can’t wait to see who else they have penciled in already!

Who are you hoping to be among the next 3 artists to be announced? Have you already got your ticket to the party? See you at the Café De Paris!

Well done for the totally ignorant, prejudicial post. You have no idea what next year will be like, stop spreading lies.

And Samanta, wow is she a class act. The Party is going to be great!
