Shantay you stay…at home to help slow the spread of coronavirus. And on May 14 at 19:30 London time, you’ll have even more motivation to do so when RuPaul’s Drag Race star Charlie Hides hosts an Alternative Eurovision Quiz via a dedicated livestream.

The event is being put on by the Terrence Higgins Trust — a British charity that campaigns on and provides services relating to HIV and sexual health.

Our friends at the Trust promise that Charlie — who you’ll remember as a queen from season 9 of RPDR — will “bring comedy and outrage”. And if you don’t believe them, then just “Believe” in Cher: she’s called Charlie her favourite impersonator. High praise indeed.

On their web site, the quiz’s organisers write: “It’s just like a normal pub quiz, but we’re putting it online. And all about Eurovision, of course!”

Alternative Eurovision Quiz with Charlie Hides

You can buy tickets on their dedicated page at Eventbrite. Below they walk y’all through the process.

Buy your ticket for just £5 (plus processing fee) below and we’ll send you a link to the live stream a couple of days before the big night on Thursday 14 May 2020.

On the night you’ll compete with others around the UK, Europe and maybe even Australia or Azerbaijan! Whether you’re flying solo or as a household, we promise it’ll be a fun, inclusive night to remember.

We’re also giving out a handful of special bonus points for extra effort with Eurovision outfits and sequins, so don’t hold back.

And this is all to ensure we can continue to be there for people living with HIV during this lonely, isolating time. Pour yourself some bucks fizz and get ready for douze points all around.

Will we be seeing you guys online on May 14? Are you living for this RPDR x Eurovision collab? Whose wig are YOU gonna snatch? Let us know in the comments box down below!
