The names of all 20 Festivali i Këngës 60 acts were published on Tuesday 9 November. And one thing is for certain — the line-up for Albania’s Eurovision 2022 preselection is lit!
So while Tirana gears up to host the iconic national final between 26 and 29 December, we want to know which of the artists you are most excited for. Yes, the songs are yet to be released but that hasn’t stopped us from checking out the vast back catalogues of all the competitors.
Who are you most excited for?

Could it be Alban Ramosaj? The handsome crooner is known for his participation on The Voice of Albania and his chart-topping dance hits in the Balkan region. In 2018, he was featured in the Dolce & Gabanna spring/summer fashion campaign. Last year he won the 22nd edition of Kenga Magjike with the song “Thikat e mia”.
There’s also Ronela Hajati, one of the biggest Albanian pop stars. Her long-waited Festival appearance already has heads spinning. She started her musical career in the talent show Ethet e se Premtes and continued with numerous appearances at festivals across the country and videoclips that have amassed millions of views on digital platforms.
There are, of course, many familiar faces from recent editions of the festival. Returnees from 2020 include Evi Reci, Gjergj Kacinari, Kastro Zizo and Mirud. Among the other FiK veterans are Kelly, Rezarta Smaja and Stefi & Endri Prifti.

Alban & Rezarta!
I was hoping Ronela to win FIK60 this year, but it seems the winner is already settled and it would be Alban. Since Ronela’s dance music stands little chance to win (Albanian juries love ballad song), I can only hope Alban’s entry is a good song.
Even if Alban is the pre-determined winner, I hope he’s got the best song at least. It would be tremendously disappointing if it wasn’t it.
As I am not Albanian, I only know Mirud, so yeah my poll choice is quite obvious. But I am honestly look forward to the song of every participant.
