Serbia’s brand new national selection Pesma za Evroviziju 22 gets underway on Thursday evening with semi-final one. There are 18 acts in the mix, but only nine will qualify for the grand final.

Ahead of the show, we asked you to vote for your favourites from semi-final one.

We received 3,022 votes in total. After counting and verifying them, it’s now time to reveal the results.

Zorja is a favourite in Pesma za Evroviziju 22 semi-final one

Coming out on top of this Pesma za Evroviziju 22 semi-final one poll is Zorja. Her self-titled song “Zorja” earned 834 votes, which is 27.60% of the total number cast.

The Serbian singer has quickly built up a lot of support for her song, which features plenty of traditional chant singing and instrumentation.

The other main favourite from semi-final one is Angellina. She brings us to the modern side of Serbia’s music with the pop track “Origami”. Angellina picked up 503 votes (16.64% of the total).

There’s a reasonable gap down to the rest of the acts, but two other artists did manage to secure more than 200 votes – they are Konstrakta and Boris Subotić. Both seem like they have a reasonable shot at qualifying to the grand final.

If the results were up to y’all, the other five acts we would see again in the grand final would be: Marija Mikić, Aca Lukas, Julija, Ana Stanić and Igor Simić.

We only have a few hours to wait before we see if your wishes come true and if Zorja and Angellina rise to the top of Pesma za Evroviziju 22 semi-final one.
