I am glad that Mia is going on a promotional tour in Spain, the Netherlands, and it is in Great Britain that I keep my fingers crossed for advancing to the finals and for Europe to appreciate Mia’s charming person and song
For me her song is a bit of a opposite to a guilty pleasure, An innocent dislike.
My absolute 12 points up until now. I think it will do way better than anyone expects it to do.
The song has been stuck in my head since it won. I can see why she won. It was either her or Mia N.Just hope she gets rid of the dancer and things will be OK
She gave an interview here in Croatia where she confirmed her team is following comments from fans and public since that is very important feedback for them. Also, her team is making Torino performance planned in detail. Removing a dancer is also an option.
In case they’re reading here then (we never know, right?): live backing vocals would do wonders for this entry.
They’re doing a minor revamp of the song (don’t expect a noticeable change) and they’ll have live backing vocals. The dancer will most likely stay, but she said that if a lot of people think something in the performance didn’t work, they’ll make sure to fix it. Btw I’m not sure if this was shared, but her staging director is the director of the past few editions of Ema, the slovenian NF.
Great news then. 🙂 Though I’m not a big fan of interpretative dancers, I don’t think he was the problem, but the fact he was center stage all the time. If he was just in the background and then appeared for that final moment, it would be better laready.
Not my favorite song of the year, but definitely a cute song that will get a lot of attention from the juries (especially in the semis) which will be enough for the song to go through to the final.
Which would be their best result since they brought Dora back as the selection method!
Croatia might do better than how they did in the past few years. But next year, they have to bring their A GAME!!! They need to score a Top 10 result. This hasn’t happened since 2001! That was a long time ago.
