The annual Eurovision fan prediction poll – OGAE Poll 2022 – is well underway as five more clubs have revealed their points. Italy’s 12-point streak might have ended in the previous batch, but the Eurovision 2022 host country continues to dominate the scoreboard. Italy has consistently kept its first spot since the OGAE Poll 2022 started.
If there was any danger Italy would fall from the top spot, the new batch of points do not indicate it. Both OGAE Bulgaria and Norway have awarded their douze points to Italy’s Mahmood and Blanco. Both fan clubs also have given their ten points to Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs. However, Bulgaria has awarded its eight points to Albania, while Norway sent them to the United Kingdom.
On the other hand, the OGAE clubs from Italy, Croatia and Turkey don’t follow the same alignment. Italy’s precious douze points naturally couldn’t go to themselves, so instead they have gone to France’s Alvan & Ahez – their first top score of the 2022 poll. Ten points went to the United Kingdom’s Sam Ryder and eight points have gone to the Netherland’s S10.
Instead, OGAE Croatia and Tureky have given their top scores to Spain’s Chanel. Croatia followed with ten and eight points to Italy’s Mahmood & Blanco and Serbia’s Konstrakta respectively. Meanwhile, Turkey showed some love to Italy and Sweden for their other medal places.

How do these votes change the overall OGAE Poll 2022 scoreboard?
There has been no changes to the top three, as Italy, Sweden and Spain continue racing to take the OGAE Poll 2022 trophy. However, Sweden keeps pressuring Italy and the difference between both nations remains tight. Spain sits comfortably in third place, with over a 20 point lead on fourth placed Netherlands.
Aside from Italy and Sweden, if there’s another country that has benefited the most from this new batch of votes, it has been Albania’s Ronela Hajati. The country has jumped from 16th place to tenth after the latest five votes. France has also leaped up from 12th place, now knocking on the door of the top five and sitting in sixth place.
On the flip side of the coin, the points that Ukraine and Finland obtained from this batch have not been enough to keep their spots in the top ten. Instead, the top ten is Completed by Poland, Cyprus and Norway.
In these latest five sets of votes, Lithuania, Moldova and Czech Republic have all obtained their first points in the 2022 OGAE Poll. Thus, 23 countries have now received points and 17 more are yet to receive any.

Spain’s ranking is astonishing to me. This feels like one of the biggest fan flops in history. Glad the UK is doing so well for s change. Ukraine, Czech Republic and Estonia should be higher. And Portugal not being on the board is insane.

Personally I don’t like Italy at all. I don’t understand why people like. But ok would be interesting if they win again but ok. Sweden, I like it but not enough for me to say that is winner potential. Still Sweden winning would be ok its a good song but uhhhh.
I always like italy and even though italys entry is good i thought IRAMA song was better. Spain is a disappointment for me with dancing

I’m Italian so I will talk only about Sweden (because I really like Brividi lol). Anyway I agree with you, the Sweden’s one is a good song but I think that it’s weaker than other countries this year and I don’t see a winner at all. (Like Italy, Sweden is a little bit overrated every year, even if they send good songs)
I feel it’s going to be Spain, Sweden and Ukraine for 1-3.

Happy to see Albania is finally getting the recognition it deserves. People are really underrating this, if the staging is on point and the vocals are good it’s a strong contender for a top 10 finish.
Meanwhile Lithuania continues to be underrated which is a shame

Usually the winner of Eurovision is in the OGE’s top ten. So maybe this is an exception.
It is not betting, it is Eurovision fans who have joined OGAE voting for their favorites. It is the same as any YouTube chart of combined tops and MES app.
Spain will be the biggest flop in history just after Malta last year. She sells the song very well but lyrically there’s nothing

Last year malta felt fake. The problem with Spain is that the song is not that good, the lyrics are rubbish and the whole concept feels very outdated. A woman dancing sexy with som dancers sourroungung her. Well it is not that interesting. The strength is that she sells it so well. But the other three are at least for me over whelming the last one.

I’m quite surprised Portugal hasn’t received a single point yet given how much Eurofans seem to love that song. Same could be said on a lesser degree for Ireland, which isn’t as hyped as Portugal but did receive a positive reception from Eurofans as well.

I really like the raspiness to her voice, adds to the heartbreak of the song. Singing doesn’t always need to beautiful, it can really sell the story of the song. Kinda reminds me of You Oughta Know by Alanis Morrisette in terms of vocals.
People do know that there’s a jury that will very likely make albania not qualify right? You know already that some eurofans will be flabbergasted thinking that this is something corrupt when in reality it’s pretty obvious but eurofans always like to make at least a couple non qualifiers each eurovision as if they were certain qualifiers that somehow didn’t qualify a la croatia 2021 armenia 2019 estonia 2017 etc.

I think Italy Sweden Greece Australia and Malta Switzerland and Poland will compete for top five in the jury.

Overall the most likely winners would be Italy Greece and Sweden.

Albania may win, a hurricane of a bop. The only thing that can stop her is maybe a quality ballad like Poland or Azerbaijan. Otherwise she is an obvious frontrunner. Don’t be fooled by the odds, I think they can be easily manipulated in someone’s interest.

The albanian singer is one of the best of the pack, there aren’t much bop’s to go for the only thing where it can go wrong is with the staging plus it’s according to me in the weaker semi final so i don’t see actually a problem for albania to qualify just because you don’t like a song it means it will fail last year was full of female bop songs and that’s one of the reasons why croatia failed to qualify
