Her national final performance intrigued the audience, both national and international, with her emphasis on the importance of clean hands and good health. And Serbia’s Konstrakta continues to intrigue our readers, as she’s their favourite Eurovision 2022 entry from the former Yugoslavia.

About a month ago, we asked you which of these countries – Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia –  has the best entry at Eurovision 2022. Our readers turned out, casting 6,197 votes in total. In the end, you sent a clear message in the form of a clear winner.

Konstrakta’s “In corpore sano” is our reader’s favourite Eurovision 2022 entry from the former Yugoslavia

According to our readers, this one’s a no-brainer. Serbia’s Konstrakta secured almost half of all votes cast, with 2,902 votes (46.83%).

Serbia’s entry wowed some of the Wiwi Jury members as well. Here’s how our very own wiwiblogger Antranig reviewed the song prior to rehearsals starting:

Get your hand sanitiser ready and make sure your health insurance is in order because Konstrakta is not playing around. This is a fantastic commentary on its chosen subject matter and Konstrakta sheds light on an important topic that can often be easily overlooked. The national final performance was striking and clever in equal measure – they can easily copy and paste all of that to the Eurovision stage. I’m notoriously awful at predicting Eurovision winners but I’m going to stick my neck out here – my money’s on Belgrade 2023.

The rest of the votes got split rather equally between the four remaining entries. Slovenia’s LPS secured second place with 975 votes, with Montenegro’s Vladana coming third with 903 votes.

Poll results: Which country of the former Yugoslavia has the best song
at Eurovision 2022?

  1. Serbia: 46.83%, 2902 votes
  2. Slovenia: 15.73%, 975 votes
  3. Montenegro: 14.57%, 903 votes
  4. Croatia: 12.70%, 787 votes
  5. North-Macedonia: 10.17%, 630 votes

Total votes: 6,197

I think that the Serbian song is the worst song since Slovenia 2017. Lets see how many downvotes I can get. Give me as many as you can!

I’m not going to downvote you, I’m just going to say that it’s the worst only based your personal taste, from an objective perspective however, it’s 100x times smarter and better than Slovenia 2017 and definitely one of the most interesting songs of the 2022 Eurovision season. 🙂
