What makes you think she is winning?

She’s not winning at all. It’s just Ritoli being Ritoli…

True. The song could very well be good. But the pre-release hype does make me kind of wish for it to flop. Let see how she does when the time comes

Maybe that is Ritoli’s evil plan. To make people hate Noa.

Everything! First of all, the level of the songs so far is very low, I still haven’t heard a song that deserves to win. And of course Noa herself, Doron who already won with “TOY”, the huge financial budget, Noa’s professional team, the feminist song, everything reminds me of Israel 2018. And history tends to repeat itself, Israel won in 1998 when the competition was held in the UK.

The fact that Israel 2018 has so many similarities to Israel 2023 makes me think the OPPOSITE.

I wish them well, but really wish they had a stronger more interesting song. I’m sure they’re capable of much more than this. Maybe if they were chosen internally and had a vote on a choice of songs?

I understand this is getting some revamp, hopefully make it less monotonous. My suggest about the lyrics? Sing it all in Irish!

It will need a “revamp” as radical as Set Me Free in 2021 which got it over the line. Perhaps change the cringe lyrics which makes it look like I Am What I Am # 2.

I don’t think it’s anything like that song. One is about self, the other is about unity with others.

I don’t need a philosophy lecture. They are both from the same copybook/songbook.

You didn’t get a philosophy lecture, just a general summation of what the songs are about. I don’t see any similarities at all.

Oh no worries at all J, perhaps I was a little sharp, sorry. Perhaps we can agree that neither song comes up to our required standard. I can see what these Irish shysters are trying to do, I hope they don’t qualify. Nothing personal. Perhaps we (Ireland) need to take a couple years out. Slan agus beannacht, oiche mhaith!

I’m not sure I’d call them a “boyband”, boybands don’t write their own songs, they are manufactured, and are pretty above all else.
