Monika aka Bejba 2.0, DSDS 2023 runner up queenie
For those who aren’t aware of the situation in Poland: we just had elections, and the new government has recently begun a battle to reclaim and depoliticize TVP. There’s immense legal chaos, and nobody truly knows who’s in charge, which makes it a miracle that we’re even participating in Eurovision. Honestly, nobody has the bandwidth right now to quickly organize any pre-selections.
I knew you guys had elections recently, and when it was announced that poland was doing the internal selection this year, I figured something chaotic was happening at the broadcaster. This explains it. I hope eventually TVP gets itself together and pick something good or at least decent.
I see they got tired of being accused of corruption in NF.
Let’s see what Poland comes up with, the process looks transparent and in order this time
So it’s not a sure thing for Witcher, like some pretended to know? I won’t be mad, as usual, I don’t get the hype at all. But Justyna, she’s a great artist and it’d be fantastic if someone of her caliber represented Poland, especially after Bejba.
what do you mean with ”especially after bejba” aren’t you tired of being a salty hater, but honestly Blanka slayed, in your face lols
she was vocally even super decent at ESC compared to the NF
her only crime is having many connections and having grown up filthy rich that is the only reason why the salty Jann fans were against her, but tbh Jann was disastrously bad lmao
Jann was better. And Ochman was better. And Justyna also will be better than bejba)
Jann was better in what universe, of planet deludanoid lmao
him and that amateurish stage presence lol
do you hear that kids, salty haters who can’t take it that Blanka slayed and brought that fire in her dance break
Jann song has winner vibes, for Bejba 19th place is her maximum so yeah he was way better. Bejba is +- Rafal level.
Smells corruption. I predict Justyna won’t be chosen and fans will be furious
It is actually a good thing she will not be selected. It is a horror song.
I feel like her song is overhyped this year. It doesn’t have too much of a melody and brings fusion the wrong way. Rim Tim Tagi Dim is how you fuse genres.
agree, Justyna is a total mess. They should sent something fresh ,Poland music scene is really of a high quality.
Justyna was chosen by old TVP so.. She is also corrupted choice but she just much better than bejba.
Good. Internal is better than putting a show of fake democracy. Poland will need a little time to clean up the p i ss of PIS, so internal is the way to go for now.
A different kind of internal selection. How exciting.
– It makes a lot of sense that they’re reopening the selection after changing out the leadership at TVP. The way people reacted after TBSE23 must’ve deterred a lot of people.
– It’s interesting how they’re not settling for Justyna Steczkowska, I love their energy of trying for more.
– After looking at the preQs on Eesti Laul, I’m a bit skeptical if a panel really is the best way to pick an artist. But it makes sense, a rules-governed process feels a lot less corrupt than just picking one.
