Are you ready for London Eurovision Party? We are, and we’re delighted to confirm Raiven from Slovenia is the first act confirmed for the show!
She will bring her spellbinding 2024 entry ‘Veronika’ to Here at Outernet in London. We can expect an enchanting performance, filled with drama and incredible vocals in front of 2,000 fans in London.
Ahead of the song reveal earlier this month, Raiven told Wiwibloggs that her song was inspired by a real-life historical figure named Veronika. She was the first woman in Slovenia accused of being a witch. The song is a statement on how women have been and remain targets of persecution.
Raiven attempted to represent Slovenia three times prior to 2024, by taking part in national final EMA on several occasions. In 2016, she participated with “Črno bel”, which placed second, andhe returned a year later in 2017 with “ZaĹľarim” and placed third. In her most recent attempt in 2019, she placed second again with “Kaos”. Slovene broadcaster RTVSLO internally selected her this year, given her cult status with Eurovision fans. We’re sure her previous excellent results in EMA have given them confidence that she will shine in Malmö.
London Eurovision Party 2024
The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom. It is also one of the biggest and most classic shows on the Eurovision pre-party tour. It’s been going from strength to strength over the years, and this year it celebrates it’s 15th edition in style at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.
Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London, known for it’s artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself. You can expect to see many more announcements coming very soon of 2024 acts, and past Eurovision favourites.
The London Eurovision Party will take place at Here at Outernet on Charing Cross Road in London on April 7th 2024. There are still some tickets left to the show here. Be sure to get there quick though to avoid disappointment, as availability is very low.
