Keiino had their time 2019, just repeating themselves even doing their style.

The ones who didn’t give it a medal maybe all have it on 30 while they have Damdiggida on 4.

Annalisa and Mahmood had such masterpieces. They could’ve easily won in Malmo. Angelina is still a contender, but those two were amazing imo.
In general, SanRemo was way over the rest of NFs. Melfest was not as good as previous editions but for a few songs, UMK is growing on me, Benidorm was a bit disappointing after only three editions, etc.

Annalisa with Sinceramente would have been a real contender for the win, and Cazzi Opeia was I think also a favorite entry if it won, and Keino would have been a real contender
Justyna – Wither Tarahoro that one was also my fav.. lots of songs I liked this year who missed the spot

Honestly no idea what those Melodifestivalen songs are doing there, it was easily one of the weaker NFs this year. Keiino’s song was good but I haven’t been listening to it since MGP.

For the record, I am no good at such immediate ranking. I’m too indecisive.

If it means anything. Danny Saucedo is my “most played” of the season to date, what can I say. It sparks joy, but I can’t objectively say it’s the “best” of the bunch.

And in the end they were ten (places 10 to 1): 1) “Remitente” – María Peláe (Spain) I knew from the very first notes that I was gonna get charmed by this song. “Remitente” covers plenty of elements that get me interested in music and appeal to me in the life of every day : organic sounds, flamenco and roots. I remember an article on Wiwibloggs reporting all the references deeply linked to María Peláe personal story, generally underlining how this song sounds like an open book about the Spanish society heritage. This made me loving it even more. It… Read more »
