Tommy Richman — it’s time to step aside! The Eurovision 2024 artists are coming for #1 on the Spotify Viral Global Top 50 chart.

As of Sunday afternoon the “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” singer had the top spot. But 20 of the remaining 49 spots were taken by artists from the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

Leading the way is Swiss ESC winner Nemo with “The Code” at #2. They’re just ahead of Croatia’s Baby Lasagna — this year’s public vote winner — with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” at #3.

The Netherlands’s Joost Klein, who placed second in Semi-Final 2, takes fourth position on the chart. It would seem that his disqualification has only gifted “Europapa” even more buzz.

What is it with Bambie Thug and the number 6? Ireland’s iconic witch has landed in position 6 here…just as they did in the jury ranking, the public vote, and the overall result at Eurovision!

France’s Slimane (“Mon Amour”) and Estonia’s 5MIINUUST X PUULUUP (“(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”) round out the Top 10 in spots 9 and 10, respectively.

Did your favourite make the list? Check it out down below and let us know.

Started to think, Ebu also lied about televoting for Israel. The second highest? Really? I don’t know anyone who voted for it. All to please Moroccan oil. Shame on you Ebu. A real shame

That’s your bubble then.
In my bubble, family, neighbors, colleagues.. voted mainly for Israel, Ukraine and the men also for Croatia, and a few votes for Serbia.
Maybe we like more positive, hopeful vibes.

In my family (From Portugal) I voted 5 times for France 3 for Ucraine and 2 for Israel . My husband exactly the same . My mum 10 for France . My son (14 years old ) the 10 split between Cyprus Sweden and Austria . So ….

If you look at the countries which put Israel on top in the televote, they include all the big five plus Australia, Netherlands and Sweden. It’s much harder to manipulate the voting in such regions.

German media pushed Israels song for months and there was a big ad campaign paid for by the israeli government to advertize the song in those exact regions.

Find a life already. It’s starting to look very pathetic how you go from thread to thread and write the sam comment everywhere.

In norway far right and conservative politicians admitted to voting 20 times for Israel and not even watching the show… All political.

I am REALLY happy about all of these artists. Besides all the shenanigans, this was a strong year.

Sad news if true but not unexpected.

Sadly I fear there may be more.

Instagram post. I did a DuckDuckGo search. They announced the withdrawal the day after Aiko failed to qualify. They will make a final decision in August.

I hope they look to Ireland and realize that if they have a good enough song, they will (eventually) qualify (again)!

Why would they withdraw because of that? In 2023 they were Top 10, 2022 qualified, 2019 qualified, 2018 qualified and came top 10. Doesn’t make sense to me to withdraw because of one non-qualification.

The head of delegation’s press posted it on Twitter that it was decided on 10th and will be published somewhere in August

The Netherlands did not qualify for 8 years on a row until a 2 and 1 place followed, but I hope we pass next year?

Pedestal was more than good enough to qualify and would probably have made it had it been 50:50 juries in semi

I’m not sure, on the one hand, you’d think juries would be aware of Aiko’s problematic performances before the contest. But on the other they may be more inclined to reward her growth, the SF performance wat great.

They should be given a bye into the 2025 final if they want it.

Delighted for Bambie, Nemo, Baby, Slimane, Joost and Silvester.

I’ll be honest, I quite like Estonia too, there’s something about it that I just dunno why. And I really shouldn’t. Congrats to them going viral though

I think Bambie Thug is cursed with number 6.
She took Ireland back to the GFinal after 6 years

And the viewing figures for the grand final in Ireland were… 666k (RTE official)… It’s hilarious… Or is it a hex 🙂

And the difference between their jury (142) and public vote (136) was six.

Nice to see the quality of Eurovision reflected in the world wide charts. I hope this makes other artists considering taking part see that you can achieve world wide success even if you don’t win and break into new territories with their music going forward.

Well yes, but I wonder if Nemo’s win might put them off. I can’t think of a single artist from my country who could pull off a staging like that along with virtuoso vocals … but that’s what it takes to win these days.

So not O Alexander?! I have heard the song on the radio and appreciate it for the first time. All the running around and acrobatics put me off.

It didn’t put juries off though, did it? That’s my point. Olly had a good staging idea, but that’s not enough
