Festivali i Këngës 63 is now in full swing. Following two semi-finals and a nostalgia night show, the 15 grand finalists of the contest have been decided.

A total of 30 acts entered FiK 63, Albania’s selection for Eurovision 2025. But this number has now been cut in half ahead of Sunday’s grand final.

The finalists were determined entirely by a professional jury.

Festivali i Këngës 63: Finalists

  • Algert Sala – “Bosh”
  • Alis Kallacej – “Mjegull”
  • Ardit Çuni – “Amane”
  • Djemtë e Detit – “Larg”
  • Elvana Gjata – “Karnaval”
  • Gjergj Kaçinari – “Larg jetës pa ty”
  • Jet – “Gjallë”
  • Kejsi Jazxhi – “Kur bota hesht”
  • Lorenc Hasrama – “Frymë”
  • Mal – “Antihero”
  • Nita Latifi – “Zemrës”
  • Orgesa Zaimi – “I parë”
  • Shkodra Elektronike – “Zjerm”
  • Stine – “E kishim nis”
  • Vesa Smolica – “Lutem”

The 15 remaining acts will now perform again during the grand final on Sunday evening.

Here, the results will be decided by three groups: 50% professional jury, 25% Albanian public vote, 25% international online vote.

The ultimate winner will have the honour of representing Albania at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.

unpoplar opinion, but Ardit Çuni’s performance was much better than Elvanas. this comes from someone who actually like Elvanas song, but the performance was lacking so much energy

I am afraid from Mal Retkoceri, he can corrrupted the jury like last year..Shkodra Elektronike and Elvana normally are favorites but the Eurovision like a star as ELVANA…Uno dos tresElvana

I think Mal going to Eurovision wouldn’t be a problem. Shkodra meanwhile are certainly a jury favourite.

Elvana only has half a song and is making up for her lack of vocal talent and skill with a lot of dance moves. Rea Nuhu brought an accomplished performance and was unappreciated. Those of you who consistently deride ballads are driving the older folks out of Eurovision fandom with your rude noise.

Not all older folks like ballads for sure

Elvanas song is infectiously catchy , simple as it is , she’s a great performer and I see this in the top 10 if she gets chosen . Which is highly likely . This is going to do very well next May !

Not sure how such a small country does it but so much talent! Top league: Dua Lipa, Ronela and now Elvana!

Ka Momente, Mbaje and Santino de Bartolo’s entry were robbed of a place in the final

Ka Momente was very catchy

Mbaje best female ballad of the year

and Santino, something different but likely was deemed too alternative i guess

Elvana is the only one with a ESC worthy entry with all honesty

a mediocre year of FiK

Are we watching the same shows? There’s about 4/5 options they can choose from. That’s huge for this festival, because it’s usually [singer] vs. [singer] and the rest is filler.

Crossing everything that can be crossed for Shkodra Elektronike to win! I just know this will do so well at Eurovision, and even without it – it’s such a good song. LETS GO

This is now Orgesa’s to lose. I’m sorry her live performance wasn’t it. Not in terms of her vocals as they were fine. However, this song/performance demanded more choreography and there wasn’t that much all she did was stand there 95% of the time and whatever choreo was present was tired and lacking in energy. The only good thing about the staging was the lowering of Elvana from the roof at the start of the performance, a motif that will have to be omitted from Eurovision anyway due to contest rules regarding health and safety. Orgesa, Ardit, SE, Lorenc, Mal… Read more »

To me this is a “Three-Horse-Race” between Elvana Gjata, Shkodra Elektronike, and Ardit Çuni.

Biased article by the author is biased. There are 2 clear favourites, yet you choose to ignore Zjerm.

I wonder if we will have proportional system of voting or points will be converted on a 0-12p scale, if it’s proportional I think Elvana will probably win

Very poor coverage this year. FiK is the preselection, not the other one.

My favs are Orgesa, Ardit and Elvana, so I would be happy if the winner is one of them.

Elvana and Shkodra Elektronike are overhyped. A dark horse will win Festivali i Kënges.

Honestly, I can see Ardit Cuni or Orgesa winning.

Ardit Cuni winning would be like Israel 2022 (sorry for naming this country) and Belgium 2023.

Orgesa winning would be like Vesa last year.
