Who is Princ?

Princ is representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Basel, Switzerland. His entry “Mila” is a huge traditional Balkan ballad, dripping with romance and passion. The entry has lyrics describing a love that should slip away from him, but he is desperate to keep even if he doesn’t deserve it.

The singer hails from Vranje in the far south of Serbia. He is in a band named Sisyphus, but is more known for his solo work, having won competitions in Belarus, Bulgaria and Malta. He has performed in many countries across Europe, and even some in Asia. His first attempt to go to Eurovision took place in 2022, when he aimed to enter Serbian national selection Pesma za Evroviziju. He had to withdraw due to conflicts with the songwriter but came back a year later with a new song “Cvet sa istoka”. Sadly, he won the televote, but came 2nd in the show due to Luke Black’s higher jury score. Still, at least we got the excellent “Samo Mi Se Spava” at Eurovision!

He returned again in 2025, with “Mila”, and had a more successful turn, winning the show. He was just 1 point ahead of his closest rivals, the fabulous Harem Girls. However, it is his turn indeed, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the London Eurovision Party 2025 to bring his huge vocals to the crowd!

I like him, he is a nice, smart, good looking guy, but unfortunately his song is an UQ, even after the revamp. His potential is bigger than the song’s and for him it would be a lost opportunity. No wonder, he did not win NS cause he was favorite, but totally unexpectedly. Pulling back, and letting N 2 represent Serbia, would have been a correct decision.
