Erika and Shkodra Elektronike (SE) as top 2 is how I think it will end up. Love both songs (many others) but love SE most. Just saw a comment on youtube saying that the gov is providing 150,000 Euros as support to SE?!
Honestly – I don’t think more than 5-6 of these songs would make it out of the semis in a normal year. None have me going out of my way to listen to them, though there are a couple I find pleasant enough when the random shuffle brings them up.
At this point, I’m just rooting for the winner to be someone who actually sings the song live – whoever it may be. The quality is that low this year.

Albania is by far the most unique, complex and artisitcally built with a beautiful message and not basic like sauna sauna sauna or ich komme ich komme. Israel would be clearly disqualified prior to the final when if they have planned to get over 300 points with using ads and billboards and now it’s prohibited by the EBU.

i would like to see a surprising small country winner this year maybe from lithuania or estonia.
Estonia has won Eurovision before, 24 years ago, but I don’t want them to win with espresso macchiato. That would really set the contest back.
Lithuania winning would be the ultimate dark horse victory, although realistically, I’m hoping they maintain their top 15 position at best if they make it to the final. I’ll be genuinely shocked if it makes it into the top 10.
I can’t see Espresso Macchiato getting enough points from juries. However I enjoy it more than some of the higher profile joke entries. I was disappointed with Lithuania’s poor result last year. Whether this will do any better is hard to predict but I am optimistic they will make final at least.

Honestly it should be Finland. The song is unique and catchy and the staging is great. Sweden won Eurovision literally just 2 years ago and Austria is too similar to Switzerland last year and going from one German speaking country to another would be so boring . I understand if people are fed up with Sweden. But people should vote for whatever song they like no matter if the country has won recently. But I understand it’s one of the factors when given the question of who should win. With Sweden it’s probobly even more sensitive.
You reasons for Sweden and Switzerland not winning are pointless. Just because a country won 2 years ago, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t win again. Similarly, going from one German country to another is boring? How are these legit reasons?

I don’t know who’s going to win because it feels very open to me, and that’s what makes it exciting. Then again, I thought 2024 was an open year, but Switzerland ended up landsliding the jury by a mile. So I don’t know how things are gonna end up. I know there’s some countries being pushed forward as possible, winners, but I also think we could have a possibility of a dark horse winner of somebody that we didn’t think was gonna do the business but surprise us in the end. Anything could happen.
