Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 alum Sara James has made the grand final of America’s Got Talent. The 14-year-old star impressed during the semi-finals with her performance of Elton John’s iconic track “Rocket Man”, getting a standing ovation from all four judges.
Simon Cowell said: “Wow, Sara! I am actually very emotional for you right now.”
“That song choice was genius. You have heard the expression ‘make the song your own’, that is what you did!”
Super model and business women Heidi Klum added: “Absolutely amazing. Simon you sure know how to pick your stars. That was incredible!”
Actor and comedian Howie Mandel added: “Your look, your poise, your talent is that of a superstar.”

Sara James is already “Somebody“
For such a young woman, Sara already has the experience of a veteran and is no stranger to singing competitions. Sara’s sharp rise to fame began after winning The Voice Kids Poland in 2021 and later that year, representing her country in JESC 2021 in Paris with her song “Somebody”, finishing in second place.
And now she is taking on the adults in one of the biggest shows in the world – America’s Got Talent. The young teenager has already made a name for herself on the show.
Before making it to the final, Sara received Simon Cowell’s “Golden Buzzer” by singing a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Lovely”. That sent Sara directly to the Semi-finals from her audition.
The “Golden Buzzer” can be pressed only once by each jury member during the auditions. It’s a remarkable feat and honour for someone who was only 13 when she auditioned for the show.
Sara qualified alongside Nicolas RIBS in AGT Semi Final 3 and will perform in the Grand Final of America’s Got Talent on September 13th.

This rendition was literally perfect. Probably the best singing performance this show has ever had. The arrangement, her voice control, the emotion she was able to put in AT JUST 14, the stage presence… incredible. This girl is gonna win the adult version of the contest. Mark my words. Shame on TVP for giving her a half-ass song that didn’t show not 15 percent of her vocal range and rich tone for junior eurovision. Bo kocham cie Sara!

why did she said , she is american teenager , when she said B4 she is from POLAND. Dont like it , polse;es don’t like it (even those in america) polaks in POLAND . And americans… hmmmm will they go 4 somebody who can switch theirs …. well origins like a blink of the eye

Obviously she said american instead of polish because of stress. She is not ashamed of being Pole, she even quoted polish phrase during the filmed presentation of her before her performence.
Don’t be such a hater. The girl under such a tremendous stress made a mistake. I wonder how you’d react in the same situation. Don’t be negative.
Congrats to her, she is somebody but no need Mr Cowell or AGT to know that. Now I don’t know if this show is the best way to make a big career after…
