Following its three-year absence, Austria re-entered the Eurovision arena by launching “Guten Morgen Düsseldorf!”—the first phase of its national selection contest.  A total of 210 artists submitted songs, and a professional jury from the Austrian broadcaster cut them down to a select 30. According to the official site of “Guten Morgen Düsseldorf!” members of the public can now cast SMS votes for their favorite acts until January 31. At that point the 30 semi-finalists will be cut to 10 who will battle it out during a live televised final on February 25. The semi-finalists are:
