Przemek Bartos, Wiwi’s pal and a Eurovision expert based in Poland, has visited some of the most popular Eurovision sites around Europe and compiled the results of their semi-final prediction polls. He’s assigned countries 0 to 12 points based on their performance in the respective polls and come up with the following rankings.

In the first semi-final, Hungary’s Kati Wolf has jumped into the lead with her 80s-sounding dance number “What About My Dreams?” She’s followed by Azerbaijan’s Nikki & Ell (“Running Scared“) and Poland’s Magdalena Tul (“Jestem“). Turkey, Norway, Greece, Russia, Georgia, Armenia and Finland would also advance to the final based on this compilation.

In the second semi-final, Sweden’s Eric Saade (“Popular“) has established himself as the favorite. He received 10 or 12 points in every online poll Przemark visited. He’s followed by Estonia’s Getter Jaani (“Rockefeller Street“) and Bosnia’s Dino Merlin (“Love in Rewind.”) Denmark, Romania, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Israel, Slovakia and Austria would also advance to the final according to this compilation.

If you’d like to vote in Wiwi’s various polls, then click here.

Thanks for all of your work, Przemark!

@vangelis I think you’re probably not right about the Netherlands.
They will get trough the final this year. It’s a good song with an international sound and…going political.. we always get a lot of votes from Belgium, Austria and Israel….

Vangelis,is this your first eurovision? After reading your comment,I see it is.
Now,from the first semi,Armenia will qualify,no matter what. Also Greece,Turkey,Azerbaijan,Georgia, and NOrway.First of all, this is a political contest,so we know before that this will get into the final. Also Hungary and Poland may make it,but it’s all about the public+jury.
Second semi-Romania never missed a final, honey. And it’s better than Ukraine,Latvia and Bulgaria and it will have nordic countries votes because it has a nordic sound but it’s catchy enough to get points from other countries so..

From the first semi, Armenia will probably not qualify, but Serbia will.

From the second semi, I don’t see Romania, the Netherlands or Austria in the final. It will probably be Ukraine, Latvia and Bulgaria instead.
