For Sweden’s Charlotte Perrelli, Christmas is not just about eating gingerbread and buying presents for loved ones. It’s also about cashing in on your musical talent and relasing a Christmas album!
“Min BarndomsJul” (My Childhood Christmas) features 13 seasonal songs in Swedish and English. But, given that this is a holiday album, it is also a family affair. The album includes vocals from her two sons Angelo and Alessio. You can hear them singing in the album sampler below.
Charlotte—or “The Girl” as we like to call her—will embark on a tour of Sweden in December to promote the album. The album will not be out until Nov. 20, but you can pre-order it here. And if you happen to be in Sweden you can also purchase tickets for her tour here.
What do you think of Charlotte’s holiday offering? Will you be stuffing your stocking with one of her CDs?

This is the second time Charlotte does a xmas album after her 2008 “Rimfrostjul”. And this time around she is following the same musical experience Agnetha Faltskog did back in 1981 with her daughter Linda.
