Sabina Babayeva knows how to bring the drama. Her soulful interpretation of “When the Music Dies” secured Azerbaijan a fourth place finish on home soil back in 2012. She also finished as runner-up in our search for Eurovision’s Next Top Model, thereby showcasing the beauty of women from Baku to Bakixanov.
Now she’s back with a new single and she’s clearly gunning for the title of Miss Patriot. “Ey Azerbaycanim”—Oh Azerbaijan!—celebrates the Motherland. And the video recycles more than a few of the postcards from Eurovision 2012 (yes, you will see the Flame Towers at least 12 times).
Sabina celebrates the Aliyev family.
Sabina celebrates Azeri rugs.
Sabina even celebrates Eurovision winners Ell & Nikki—and herself.
If you’re on the mood to keep on celebrating, you can watch the video below.

AZERBAIJANI PEOPLE HAVE A LOT OF RESPECTS TO THE TOURISTS..
WELL DONE SABINA!SHE SINGS ABOUT HER MOTHERLAND.THERE IS NOT ANYTHING WRONG HERE.I HAVE BEEN TO AZERBAIJAN AND IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND HISTORICAL COUNTRY.
Well, I like the song, the lyrics don’t contain any propaganda. But the music video is just full of nonsense. It’s too much propaganda. Sabina is an artist, she shouldn’t promote the president. Maybe it’s because recently she’s been too close to the president’s family. I frequently see ’em together.
where’s wolfgirl :p
Doesn’t matter if it’s old. I hadn’t heard the song. The more news the better
lol that’s old news wiwibloggs!!
