Hey everyone, Zach here! A little while ago I posted a set of Vine videos about being a Eurovision fan from the United States, and since they went over pretty well I decided to put more of my ordeals on film for you all to enjoy!

And before I continue, as this was small issue last time, I just want to point out that these are purely intended for comedic use, nothing else. They’re not a cry for the EBU to grant the USA participation, and they’re not meant to be disparaging to other nations on the American continent just because the word “American” in the title refers to the USA in this case. Just silly, random fun! 🙂

I hope you enjoy the videos, and I have a ton of more funny ideas and occurrences so they’ll be popping up every now and again!

I hope you liked the new set of videos, and I hope you never have to hear a comparison of Eurovision and that American Idol trash for real someday, it just turns on some kind of Lordi fueled rage inside. Anyway, thanks for watching, and keep your eyes peeled for the next set!

It is so funny another American with my name who is a Eurovision Fan. I get that so it’s like American Idol all the time. Hahaha lol.

Last year was the first time I watched a Eurovision in its entirety; and I can tell you, sitting here in New York City, it is nothing like ‘Idol’ (or any of its clones) and ‘Idol’ is nothing like it.

hahahaha I absolutely love these. LOL at “Oh, so it’s like American Idol?” hahaha. I honestly can’t believe American Idol is still on TV. :p

& as for 24hr clock, up to 21 hrs, you just subtract 2 😛 Example: 20:00 CET 20 minus 2 is 18. So, 8 o’clock

I love these! And sadly, I’ve already heard the comparisons to American Idol and X-Factor. “This is so lame, just watch American Idol like everyone else does!”

Hahahaha yesss I have to agree with all three of these. Thankfully Wiwibloggs and ESCtoday together at least provide the links to see all these shows online – otherwise it would be really frustrating to try to find them myself. The time difference itself makes it tricky sometimes, and it makes it hard to watch the ESC semifinals because they’re smack in the middle of the day. Also, it’s kind of tiresome to explain the contest to everyone… when everyone’s following college football, the NBA playoffs or some American TV series, there’s only two TV events I’m following all year:… Read more »
