Anthony: Unsurprisingly, Pollapönk remained as colourful as ever during their first rehearsal, once again wearing their multicoloured track suits. And the stage follows suit with flashing neon lights and plenty of coloured shapes on the LED screens. Strong vocals from the quartet, although judging from the rehearsal as a whole, it could do with a bit more pizzazz without going over the top.

Wiwi: Initially I was turned off by the thought of a punk rock band for kids. But this song and the staging are absolutely adorable. There’s an anthemic quality to the la-la-la-la bit, and their hand clapping is adorbs. The LED of a red cage works well the theme of being bullied and feeling trapped. Hopefully this blast of sunshine will give a bit of hope to everyone fighting the nasties.

Only the back-up singers are wearing track suits, as far as I can see; the main band members are wearing suits that are tailored to look similar to traditional sailor suits. Just look at their collars.
