Freaky Fortune recruit Team Miley for In A World Without You

As the Mediterranean sun heats up, Greece’s Eurovision 2014 contestants Freaky Fortune are thinking big. They’ve teamed up with Nicolas Costa, the man behind Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” remix, to bring you another summer hit “In A World Without You”.

This song premiered at Madwalk—a music and fashion event in Cyprus. And boy does it smack of island sun! Raptakis’s wail leaves me wanting, but Costa’s production stops the song from becoming a downer. In fact, “In A World Without You” is buoyant, assertive and ahead of the dance pack.

And so are Freaky Fortune. They started their career by covering popular Greek and Eurovision songs. Panik Records took notice, and they’ve helped steer the boys to pan-European stardom. Their partnership with Riskykidd was a success that helped secure Greece’s spot at the Eurovision finals with ‘Rise Up’. This new collaboration with Nicolas Costa proves that the boys are savvy with their choices, and are set to release a quality dance album later in the year.
