Two of Team Wiwi’s Eurovision Song Contest faves, France’s 2012 contestant Anggun and the United Kingdom’s 2014 contestant Molly have jetted off to beautiful Bali. An island province of Indonesia, the island is a well known celeb haven and the ESC stars are in serious A-list company: celebrities including Nick Jonas, Paris Hilton and US President Barack Obama have all visited the island. International supermodel Tyra Banks has also made her love of the island well known and it served as the international destination for Cycle 20 of America’s Next Top Model.
Anggun is in Bali on a business trip though (boo!). Continuing the promo circuit for her new single she’s releasing through Warner Records – ‘Right Place, Right Time’ – she appeared live on stage on 16th August at the Dreamfields Festival, having previously performed the single on Indonesia’s Got Talent.
While Molly isn’t gigging out in Bali, she is out there showing love for her friends by attending their wedding AND she hasn’t forgotten those of us eagerly awaiting her forthcoming LP.
The British songstress confided to her 14k Facebook fans that she’s using the island as inspiration for writing and has portable recording equipment with her. Maybe some sun kissed cuts will be making late additions to the album?
Regardless of why they’re out loving life in Bali, Team Wiwi knows one thing: we are super jealous! Take us next time, okay?
