Tonight it was time for the third show of Lithuania’s national selection marathon, Eurovizijos dainu konkurso nacionaline atranka or, if you can’t handle that tongue-twister, Eurovizijos 2015. For the first time all the artists sang potential Eurovision songs and two of the artists got eliminated. After counting votes from the Lithuanian public and votes from the Lithuanian and international juries, Wilma La and Reda Striškaite have been sent home.

Wilma La sang “Factory Hearts” on tonight’s show and Reda Striškaite performed “Es tut mir nicht leid”. Although the artists were eliminated, the songs are still in the race. Some of the songs will be voted out later this week and we will keep you informed with results of that too.

Last week’s winner Vaidas Baumila sang “This Time” and placed 5th. The winner of tonight’s show was Monika Linkyte, who performed “The Right Way”.

Back in 2013, when I first read about their final results after countless sessions/shows, I was kind of speechless. I liked their eventual entry in Malmo (strangely enough), but every single show in that marathon had a different winner. Similar thing happened last year in terms of “how is the better singer”.

“Lithuania, stranger than fiction. *visitlithuania.com”

They should go with that line when promoting tourism. Hahahh

I think Ralfi (Darragh Reck) has submitted both “Factory hearts” and “The man who won the lottery for the moon” into the Irish selection process (Courtesy of Eurovision Ireland). So, he’s obviously leaving nothing to chance. The same with Kitty Brucknell trying to represent Moldova after failing in Switzerland.

Lithuania’s Factory Hearts,Malta’s Closed Doors and Switzerland’s Your Perfume are the most original songs from national selections this eurovision season so far. I’m madly in love with all three of them,I hope at least Factory Hearts will be the chosen one when the other two failed. :(((

Lithuania Eurovizija is the most strange competition of all national competitions! The songs how about them tonight? Very bad Lithuania!

Monika has to win this, she was snubbed last year and deserved it then too. Please send Monika singing “Skestu”. I also love the songs “Take My Love” and “Factory Hearts” even though I don’t know how Monika would sound singing those.
