In just over a week Slovenia will decide who gets to follow in the footsteps of last year’s Eurovision representative Tinkara Kovach, and today the official EMA Facebook page announced the full running order of all 8 finalists

So we now know that Alya featuring Croatian rock star Neno Belan will get the show underway with “Misunderstandings”, while Eurovision backing vocalist and 2009 representative Martina Majerle will bring the curtain down with “Alive”.

EMA 2015 Running Order

Post by EMA.

1. Alya & Neno Belan – “Misunderstandings”

2. Tim Kores – “Once Too Many Times”

3. Jana Šušeršich – “Glas Srca”

4. I.C.E. – “Vse Mogoche”

5. Clemens – “Mava To”

6. Maraaya – “Here For You”

7. Rudi Buchar & Figoni – “Šaltinka”

8. Martina Majerle – “Alive”

Each of the 8 finalists will be evaluated and rated by the juries after their performances. The two songs with the highest totals will then advance to the EMA super-final, where they’ll perform once again before the televoting public decides the winner.

It’s been confirmed that RTVSLO will once again unveil their songs on radio stations in Slovenia next week, just as they did last year. The first presentation will take place on radio station VAL 202 on Tuesday, 24 February at 18:00 CET. You can listen to the live broadcast here.

The second song presentation will take place on Radio Maribor on Thursday, 26 February between 10:00 to 11:00 CET. You can listen to the live broadcast here. 30 second snippets of all 8 songs will be made available on the official EMA Facebook page this Sunday.

EMA 2015 takes place on 28 February at 20:00 CET. This year’s national final will not just have one, not two, not three, but four co-hosts! Three former female Eurovision representatives of Darja Švajger, Maja Keuc and Tinkara Kovach have been given the honour, alongside Nejc Šmit, the only male co-host. It seems RTVSLO has taken a few tips from Italy’s Sanremo 2015 team of Carlo Conti, Emma Marrone, Arisa and Rocío Muñoz Morales.

Same as last year’s contest, Slovenia will perform somewhere on the second half of the Second Semi-Final, which takes place on 21 May at Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle.

20 times of participation and Slovenia’s best result so far in Vision is unfortunately just the poor 7th place.. {1995 & 2001} Even Maj Keuc that was one of the hot favorites of Dusseldorf’s 2011 Vision not only did not surpass this place but did not even finish inside top10…She only ended up just 13th(!) If Ukraine would been competing with this same song im positive to claim that would had finished in top4 or higher instead…Very unfair phenomenon.. The Slovenian entries tend to be very underrated in the Contest.. This country has to finally see the light of the… Read more »
