Anita Simoncini & Michele Perniola, perhaps the youngest duo ever to perform at Eurovision, won the fashion stakes at the recent Eurovision Gala Concert Moscow. Anita looked like a young diplomat, while Michele played the part of a suave dandy. Belissima! Belissimo!
Jamilya from wiwibloggs had the chance to meet the teen stars, and we were thrilled to see how much their English has improved since their days at Junior Eurovision. Perhaps we have San Marinese Eurovision legend Valentina Monetta to thank? As Anita says: “Valentina has said to me that we have to improve our English and we have to do many rehearsals.”
And what about their song “Chain of Lights”? Michele says it’s all about building bridges: “The world could be a chain of light, if there was peace between us”.
We are loving their light! We are loving their energy! YES!
Oh congrats, esc1234, you are the best English speaker
….
welcome to the real world, when most of the ppl can’t or it’s so difficult for them.
Their live performance in Moscow sounded warm 🙂
They may be stunning if their team devise well with good stage effect.
Michele’s eyebrows ew
@dayone
Excuse me but i also dont use English everyday. I do make a lot of mistakes but i can understand and speak English quite good. So i dont think it matters if u speak every day english or not.
@esc1234
Have you not seen the extended interview with her when Deban stayed with her?
Also as someone who had to learn English when I was 13 I have to say it is very hard especially when you don’t use it everyday.
I had to because I moved to the UK but Valentina only uses English when talking to Eurovision fans.
Oh yes she does. She knew 20 english words in 2012. Now she knows 40.
Valentina’s English has improved big time since 2012. Good for these young kids obeying Queen Monetta’s instructions.
Valentina should improve her English as well.
I love them!!!!
