It’s been 48 years since Austria had the chance to host Eurovision — and they are going all out to mark their second effort. ORF has already plastered trains, trams and taxis with their Building Bridges slogan and logo. Now they’re looking to the skies. Austrian Airlines, the country’s national airline, has just branded an aircraft with the Eurovision themed artwork. Eurovision, take flight!
The aircraft, registered OE-LBS, has a Eurovision sticker that stretches 13.53 x 3.9 meters, and consists of 24 individual parts. Passengers to Europe’s main destinations will get to see this year’s contest theme artwork flying to or from Vienna. The sticker may be very thin, but it will fight like a “Warrior”. It can survive in harsh temperatures between +80°C and -60°C.

As you can see, the Airbus A-320 aircraft has already flown between Vienna and Larnaca in Cyprus.

I would have thought they would have a stage like 2012 or 2013 rather than the 2007 remake they have now.
Thats fantastic! <3 I would really like to take that Visionary plane! <3 Although i have big fear of flying with plane! In terms of engagement, ORF does EVERYTHING to promote the event and being hosts of it. Within or outside Austria. Kudos! 🙂 They even outdone DR (Danish broadcaster) efforts in that area. 🙂
Oh, I once took that plane too to fly to Cyprus. I miss Paphos and Andreas <3
