Year after year Eurovision fans rate the entries competing in the Eurovision Song Contest and send their points to their country’s OGAE fan club. This year’s count started today with OGAE Albania, OGAE Armenia, OGAE Luxembourg and OGAE Switzerland revealing their tallies.

Italy’s Il Volo — currently second-favourite with the bookies — has jumped into an early lead with 44 points. It received douze points from Albania and Switzerland. Armenia gave their highest points to Estonia’s Elina Born and Stig Rästa and Luxembourg sent its biggest love to Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw.

Sweden sits in second position in the OGAE poll, followed by Estonia, Australia and Russia.

Current Top 5 (1 May 2015)

Italy – 44 points

Sweden – 37 points

Estonia – 33 points

Australia – 21 points

Russia – 15 points

They get it right only when the winner is obvious. I am still laughing with the second place of san marino…

Interesting only 1 point to Albania, they can got 36 maximum. I didn t expect that, because on this site Albania is one of fan favorite many articles , comment about Elhaida , and they are in TOP 3 in many polls voting, in wiwi juri voting…

Why are you all slandering OGAE now? They’ve predicted the winner of 2013, 2012, 2009, 2007 and put the winner of 2010 in third place. How many of you can say the same?
And anyway, what’s up with this obsession with accurate predictions? That’s not fin at al, we’re not bookies, just fans

Its too early to say. We ll see who will have the momentum the last week and especially the last 2-3 days after rehearsals. In fact i dont think Sweden will be the winner. I hope it will be Italy, Slovenia or why not Israel.

I would really appreciate if someone showed the right Albanian flag. The one up there is kind of deformation. The official and the right Albanian flag is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Albania

I know voting and ranking is fun, but with such a poor record of predicting the outcome, why does OGAE’s taste matter at all? It’s just irrelevant. Then we could also ask for the Eurofan Vote on ESC-Plus to be published everywhere, since there are professional musicians in the country juries. But still, it doesn’t matter. The only thing it serves is to create an expectation and to analysize the actual outcome in how far these expectations are met, as if the Eurovision bubble experts of OGAE and elsewhere were the gold standard of setting benchmarks to tell what is… Read more »

There’s nothing really surprising in this top 5. Sweden, Italy, Australia and Estonia are top 4 in the betting odds with Russia in 7th position.

Most of the high place-getters in these polls flop drastically. I’m not saying they will this year, but that’s certainly something to take note of.

Than you Luxembourg for 4 points!
Come back soon, from the Netherlands!
And surprisingly, Luxembourg doesn’t give any votes to Belgium…

OGAE voting means nothing!!
I’m almost 100% sure that Italy will flop, just like France in 2011 and Latvia in 2007 (the song is similar).
I really like the song, but this is the fan favourite that always flops.
I think the battle will be between Sweden, Estonia and Australia. I also think that Albania and Belgium maybe will suprise everyone.

When was the last time Sweden did not win or run-up the OGAE voting? Was I even born back then at this time?

Btw. with not published Bulgarian votes of yesterday Sweden is actually in the lead. 12 points Sweden, nul points Italy.

At least Italy has won the Austrian OGAE vote and Estonia is now leading in the German vote.

At least two OGAE top 5 places countries will fail to make a good result, as every year. I believe the first country to fail will be Estonia.

Italy’s song is simply just another ballad. They have voices that don’t work well for me. Italy is just a bit overrated for my liking.

: Lol what the hard core fans think. Sweden’s always overrated and one practically all points are based on the artist and not the song ( San Marino 2013 and Is real 2014 ). It’s a horrible thing to be part of the OGAE Top 10 ( when you’re not good ), it just means you were hyped to death and probably won’t make the final.
