When you’re down down, low, Slovenia’s Maraaya are there for you. Don’t believe us? Then check out our interview with the fabulous husband-wife duo from Eurovision in Concert. Despite being one of the current favourites to win the contest, they’ve got their feet planted firmly on the ground. In the video below, they tell us how they came together — as a romantic partnership and singing duo. Marjetka and Raay have amazing energy, and are able to laugh at the prospect that they may not do as well as the bookies predict (especially after Ula’s score at Junior Eurovision last year.) And don’t worry: They will bring their epic electronic violinist with them to Vienna. They’ve got her charging somewhere in Ljubljana right now!

They’re one of my favourites this year and I hope they do really well. Such a sweet couple too. I fear they’ll be the Mei Finegold of 2015 though (although I have a stronger feeling Belgium might be that).

At least i prefer Sweden’s song to win over others like the hyped hot favorite that is Australia’s mediocre bland song..
At least Man’s staging/performance/gimmicks will be spectacular even if his song is not that great to admit..
Maraaya with Slovenia should climb higher on the betting odds & even surpassing Australia of course putting Marjetka & Raay on the 4th spot with the usual suspects Sweden-Italy-Estonia being the top3..
I love them so much, and they’re my favourite this year. I’ll just be sad if they don’t make top 5 because they deserve it, and knowingly something unoriginal like Sweden will win this year, rather than this which is more original and way more fun
I believe & sense that they will NOT go down down down in Vienna’s Vision.. I consider them sure qualifiers even if they won’t finish possibly on a rather high/good place on the SF.. I do not expect Marjetka’s vocals to sound really bad…Their live performance will not be fail or messed up.. I do not think that they will bomb on the final either at the most bad scenario 4 them.. Despite being my favorite this year, I fear it will do quite bad, and a non qualification is possible, if her vocals are weak. I’m expecting the worst 🙁

And they are great musicians too, I love their song and will definitely vote for it! I’m not sure about its prospects for the win, but I’d just love to see them high, high up on the scoreboard!

Oh i really like them & they are from the most sympathetic friendly acts of Vienna’s Vision <3 🙂 Especially Marjetka that looks mesmerizing <3 🙂 She is so pretty & her eyes are just gorgeous <3 🙂 {Really sad that she did not good in the voting 4 the Vision's top model & she was eliminated already…The juries unfortunately did not themselfs save poor Marjetka either..} I have a great feeling that Slovenia finally will not underperform like other years that had great song and this year will gonna do great with finishing possibly in the top10 at last..… Read more »
