Georgia’s Lizi Pop — real name Lizi Japaridze — wowed us at Junior Eurovision 2014 with her voice and her deep understanding of human rights. At the time she told us that her song “Happy Day” was a call for all the children of the world to fill their days with joy and happiness. Today she continues with that theme and her mission to bring joy to those in need, including the many children who are subject to child abuse the world over.

On Sunday May 10, at Tbilisi’s Magti Club, Lizi will manage a special charity concert which she hopes will provide spiritual comfort to these children. She’ll sing “Happy Day” and covers of other popular songs. Proceeds will go to the “Biliki” organisation, which works to improve the lives of children in difficult circumstances. Six children helped by the organisation will be present.

Lizi pop represented Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta, with the song ”Happy Day” and finished 11th.
