Forget Denmark’s 1957 classic kiss in all the Eurovision history videos – now it’s Lithuania’s Monika & Vaidas who have the kiss. Ever since the Lithuanian national final, they’ve been winning over audiences with that iconic smooch in their performance of “This Time”. Our William caught up with the Lithuanian duo earlier today, and they chatted about the couple’s more than remarkable chemistry.

Monika Linkyte and Vaidas Baumila commented on their dental cleanliness (it’s important for a good kiss). As for their famous chemistry, Vaidas said that they knew each other before, so their chemistry was something that came naturally.

The two of them also told us that they weren’t very sure at first about going to Vienna as a duo. Of course, they were hoping to represent Lithuania as solo acts, but as y’all know, two is better than one, especially with a song like this. Can you now picture “This Time” performed with either Monika or Vaidas missing? It’s just not the same!
