William: During their second rehearsal this afternoon, Romania’s Voltaj hammered home the message of their moving song “De La Capat / All Over Again”. To help the casual viewer understand the plight of children whose parents move abroad for work, they projected black and white images of children on the LED floor — each next to a suitcase. Those images also appear on the LED wall, rendering the performance far more stirring than before. The lead singer’s outfit may not translate outside of Romania — he looks like a wedding singer or a waiter at a Tex Mex restaurant. But the vocals are so on point I’m sure viewers will look past that.

Yes, indeed, there is something wrong with the sound. I hope this issue will be solved in time. And yes, indeed, Calin’s outfit must be changed.
The background movie is a very sensible one, and I don’t think the combination movie-final message is a creepy one.
Good luck, Voltaj!

It is a creepy reality. Just last afternoon I had a long talk (not related to Eurovision whatsoever) with a neighbour old woman – was more like listening to a monologue and I was just adding in very very few words more perspective and complexity to the stories that I listened – about how can people who go for work abroad can leave their elderly parents behind. Now imagine how painful are the stories of children left behind.

I like him delivering that message at the end but I agree that he sounds way too creepy when he does it! Something less creepy plz xd

Briekimchi: Yes! It sounds so creepy, like “Don’t leave your children behind… or the old witch from the forest will steal them!”

I don’t like the comment at the end. It sounds as if he is going to get my children. He should definitely cut that out before the final performance.

The band is still like a dead fish on stage, the LED with stills from their video is uninspired to say the least but he has improved a lot compared to the first rehearsal. Henow looks animated and passionate and this is a solid male vocal performance towards the end of the show. His message at the end is corny but moving nevertheless.

I expect them to pass.

With a band playing instruments it sort of limits the staging somewhat, I hope it does not suffer the curse of the male band playing instruments. It will be interesting to see the images of the children on the LED floor. Jumped up 5 places in the betting since Sunday, so it has a chance of making the final.

I don’t like that outfit at all. Can’t he find something better in one of those suitcases ?

Why did you post the same photo like from the first rehearsal? Only of him and not other contestants?
