On March 29 we asked our readers to start voting for their favourites to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Since then our readers have cast a total of 122,484 votes and we have a clear winner. Georgia’s Nina Sublatti — perhaps the most avant-garde singer in Tbilisi — earned an impressive 21,024 votes, or around 17% of all those cast. The “Warrior” singer isn’t just ready for battle. She is ready to slay!

On the eve of the final, the bookies didn’t have faith in her potential win — they had her listed as 14th most likely to win. Do you think her killer staging, feathered silhouette and fierce vocals can court votes anyway?

Albania’s Elhaida Dani lost her voice ahead of Eurovision — see our interview here — but she’s found it and is returning to top form. She earned 17,169 votes in our poll, or around 14%, for her song “I’m Alive”. It’s an R&B love letter to herself and one that taps into the strength inside all of us.

On the eve of the final, the bookies had her listed as seventh most likely to finish last. Have they heard the final minute of her song? You can never count Elhaida out…

Italy’s Il Volo are already global superstars. After four years abroad, Eurovision marks their return to Europe. Europe is clearly ready to welcome them home — and our readers are ready to receive the group’s “Grande Amore”. They earned 8,400 votes, or around 7%.

On the eve of the final the bookies had them down as third most likely to win it all. Can they defy the odds and pip the front-runners Sweden and Russia for the win?

Who should win Eurovision 2015?

  1. Georgia: Nina Sublatti with “Warrior” 17.16% (21,024 votes)
  2. Albania: Elhaida Dani with “I’m Alive” 14.02% (17,169 votes)
  3. Italy: Il Volo with “Grande Amore” 6.86% (8,400 votes)
  4. Spain: Edurne with “Amanecer” 6.5% (7,966 votes)
  5. Sweden: Måns Zelmerlöw with “Heroes” 6.24% (7,639 votes)
  6. Russia: Polina Gagarina with “A Million Voices” 2.73% (3,338 votes)

  20. Latvia: Aminata with “Love Injected” 1.02% (1,253 votes)
  21. Serbia: Bojana Stamenov with “Ceo svet je moj” 0.94% (1,150 votes)

She can’t win unless she learns to express emotions through movement. Georgian women have problem with physical expression. They have emotional expression, good voices, but no physicality. She is just standing there…

i’ve seen many comments of you guys, who think that nina’s fans ar spamming and hijacking polls. well, it sounds absurdity and very funny. there are two reasons why nina is winning almost all of the polls: first, she is very strong, attractive and modern participant of eurovision 2015. the song is about women and feminism that is very topical issue nowadays. second, we, Georgians are very unanimous. there people think, that nina’s triumph is the triuph of our country. so, everyone shares these polls and links in social media. absolutely every person takes part in these polls. we try… Read more »

Most probably will win the Italian guys. Most of the European population is old and they could prefer that style of music. If Nina wins, it would be a miracle. But I hope she will oximate the Italian group! 😀
Let’s see…

You all know that Nina is the best and she deserves to win but you just don’t want to confess it. If I were you I would support Nina in final. Today you will see her performance and it will be more better than in semi-final.
