Slovenia’s search for Ula Lozar’s successor continued in Ljubljana this afternoon, as TV show Vikend paket broadcasted the second semi-final of Mini EMA 2015, RTVSLO’s junior equivalent of the EMA national final. Just as they did last week, a jury panel — consisting of music producer Patrik Greblo and singers Nuška Drašchek and Nina Pušlar — judged the acts. After a bit of deliberation, Lina Kuduzovic emerged as the winner!
Today’s winner is a familiar face with Slovenians across the country as aged 7 at the time, she beaten a certain Maja Keuc to become the first ever winner of Slovenija ima talent (Slovenia’s Got Talent) in 2010. You can watch her final performance of Jennifer Rush’s “The Power of Love” below.
Lina will go on to face last week’s qualifier Leni. Kiss the jury goodbye: Televoters will make the final decision on who will fly the flag for Slovenia in Sofia.
Do you agree with today’s juries? You can watch the show again here.

Lina wili win , but her song in weaker than last year song from Slovenia , and same author compose this song and last year song. With last song they are favorite to won by this sites and many fans, but they only be on 12 place of 16 coutries. With this song resulit wili be same .
Gorgeous voice and good song. I do keep hearing ‘put out your’ when she sings Prva Lju(bezen) though. It’s a nice touch putting a line in English in the middle. I don’t speak Slovene and although I was enjoying the song the way she sang that line in English in the middle with so much emotion made the whole song more powerful for me. Wouldn’t want any more of it in English though.
what a goosebumpy song! i am over excited … Definitely hot favourite material. We all know that being favourite at the end does not mean anything for slovenia without neighbour countries supporting it but again this is once more surprise from slovenia (actualy we are getting used to surprises from slovenia so a good song from that country doesnt surprise me any more 🙂
Lina trumps Leni 100 times over.
@Mario – The partial eclipse starts at 03:07 CET and its peak will occur at 04:48…we’re all gonna howl like wolf moons or as the Russian song goes: “Into the arms of light we fly, Into the arms of boundless sky…” Lina is an outstanding vocalist – for a girl her age to sing with such perfection is something almost unheard of. The song itself is a decent ballad, but the melodic build up isn’t as addictive as one would expect. Yet, I think she is the ultimate choice for Slovenia this year. Listen to this Helene Fischer ballad called… Read more »
@ Yeah indeed.. sLOVEnia does not get the Love it truly deserves in our Vision.. (like 4 example,in 2011 that their entry was winner material..) Hopefully this country will do GreAtY business{as dear Peter says <3 🙂 } in Sofia of Bulgaria in November 🙂 Both songs that will compete to the final of minion EMA, *First Love* & *Most Beautiful Day* are nice 🙂 ———————————- P.S. ~ By the way, guys tonight it will be really special night 4 our planet as we will have the pleasure to witness the total lunar eclipse of the Moon! <3 😀 This… Read more »
Lina for the win 😛
mario, you don’t have to tell, we read the article
Oh…Cool that this song managed to qualify to the final of EMA..
It is composed by Marjetka of Maraaya <3 🙂
Now we have 2 songs in the final of EMA battling 4 the fight to represent Slovenia in the Junior Vision..
Lina's *First Love* & Leni's *Most Beautiful Day*
Damn, I hope it wins 🙂
I prefer Leni, it’s uptempo and could really stand out… but I don’t mind Lina too
Beatiful song! If this wins, i hope Slovenia will not be underrated again.
