Georgia — a perennial contender at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest — knows how to mix music and wackiness. Their two previous victories involved kids dressed as bumble bees and living candy canes. For 2015 they’ve leaned toward crazy again with their act The Virus, who today revealed their official music video for “Gabede” (Dare).
Elene, Tako, Lizi and Data — who were internally chosen by GPB — filmed their official video clip on September 24. It starts with the kids planning their big escape from home. They soon transform into a punkish garage band— just look at those neon threads! — and a riot breaks out on the street. These kids don’t mess around and at first we weren’t sure whether the dare was to sneak out, to rock out or to wear those bathrobes.
But listen to the lyrics and you’ll see the dare is to live your life to the full and on your own terms: “We must not be lazy, we must not waste time sleeping. Dare and don’t delay. If you don’t like something today, we have to change.” Those are words to live by, folks!
This is fun and a real standout of this year’s competition. We dare you to forget it…
JESC 2015: GEORGIA’S THE VIRUS
How do you like the song?
The positive pro with them is that they really enjoy it having great fun & this might work 4 their benefit in Sofia…They gonna spread their virus to all of us turning us happy party animals zombies 😉 <3 hehe..
I mght not really like their song but it was cool for me watching their videoclip..
LoooL about the police men that are dancing with them at the end of the video… <3 I wanna join them.. 😉

4. Ukraine
5. Albania
Hey Georgia I support you this year first time!!! I don’t know why people writing such things but it is impossible to dislike this kids and song. ???? what esle thay need on junior eurovision I really don’t know?? Super Cool song and childs ????
It ain’t a ballad. It is annoying, sorry Georgia. If i listen to another song, i forget this. That is bad. My top 8:
1. Australia
2. Slovenia
3. The Netherlands
4. Ukraine
5. Albania
6. Russia
7. Belarus
8. Georgia
I hate the song, but Liza is very pretty ??
What can I say…. I support other country but to say that this is bad of course is not right. Good ????????
I like this song very much but this year I support Ukraine, it is the best I have heard before from Georgia after bzzzz, but ‘Mario Esc Fan’ are you OK?
It remind me of their entry with they won in 2011 Candy music. Another TOP 3 for Georgia and maybe win.
The outcome 4 Georgia’s entry will be totally unpredictable.. At the best it can offer to Georgia the record breaking 3rd victory in the Junior Vision.. At not a perfect scenario it can reach a high place in the top3 or high enough at the top5.. At an ok scenario it can hit just the top10.. At a not good scenario it can stay outside the top10 at the bottom5 or bottom 3.. And at the worst scenario it can finish on last place.. Just pretty much anything can happen with Georgia this year in the Junior Vision.. I might… Read more »
I love it. Super
GREAT GEORGIANS I REALLY DON’T EXPECTED THIS! FIRST PLACE FROM UK
*win
I have a bad feeling that this is going to w
Well Georgia’s song has fun 🙂 I might do not like it but it doesn’t mean that i dislike it.. It is just ok.. I predict 4 Georgia.. 1st place Winner at the best scenario {as the factor of how good asong is plays less significant role than the actual live performance in Junior Vision} & a place outside of top10 in the worst case scenario.. But as i have already said for the rest 6 countries,i do not think that Georgia will gonna finish just last.. Here is my new top8 rank now that we know almost the half… Read more »
I love how random it is.
I was pleasantly surpised by this song. This is way more a children’s anthem than “Dambaje”. This stands out from the others, but I still think it’s not a winner. But good job Georgia!
I actually prefer this to Australia. It’s way more fun and I love that there is no English in the song but you can still tell its about having fun. I really hope Georgia can take the crown for the third time.
The song itself isn’t that bad, but who dressed them like that? The costumes are pathetic!
Another big NO to Georgia from me.
i think this is one of my most liked georgian acts ever 🙂
wacky and fun! watching the video makes me smile from ear to ear. georgia really “gets” it. i really hope they win. 🙂
wow very good !
For the ninth (9th) year in a row, ANOTHER awesome song from Georgia! Well done, guys! However, I’m aware that the chorus sounds like “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC.
The instrument is very upbeat, fresh and very kid friendly! I agree with Robin the vocals do sound very produced (especially the boy’s)! They looked like they had fun! I love the lack of English. The song is hard to dislike!! I am thinking this could be an underdog like Armenia 2012!
I don’t know. Honestly I’m left confused. I can’t tell if it’s kinda fun or just annoying.
infectious and addictive indeed: a ‘little ones rock’ fantasy as in rock-a-bye bundle(s) of joy. It’s a high-spirited tune and we sure need those…
