Polish singer Michal Szpak has previously spoken of his desire to represent his country in Stockholm – and now he’s getting serious. Polish media are reporting that the long-haired singer has released two potential Eurovision songs and is asking fans to choose which one should be his entry.

Back in June, Michal revealed that he was interested in representing Poland at Eurovision. While Michal has not (yet) been selected by Polish broadcaster TVP, he is showing them that he’s very serious.

The songs

The first of Michal’s two songs is the dramatic and melancholic rock ballad “Such Is Life”. It has plenty of orchestral flourishes, and also features a female opera singer. It’s not your typical Eurovision ballad, but it has a flamboyance that would work perfectly on the Globe stage.

Michal’s second song is “Color of Your Life”. It starts off in a similar dramatic style to “Such is Life” before it bursts into a more upbeat sound. The song has a positive message, as Michal urges viewers to face their fears. It’s more a traditional uplifting Eurovision song, but is delivered with Michal’s unique glam rock style.

Michal’s next step will be to convince TVP to choose him and one of his songs as Poland’s entry for Stockholm.

There Is no female opera singer in “such Is life”. Its actually Michal’s voice. Yes, he can sing opera also. I beleve he’s going to charm the Eurovision viewers with colour of your life

Thanks to their new government Poland is least likely to win Eurovision next year and the years to come.

TBH, both songs would easily flopped in the semifinals. Just like Tomasz wrote, he’s advertising and pushing himself for Eurovision because his career really quickly flopped after X Factor. Both songs are meh and they would be perfect for a Eurovision in 1980s, but not in 2016. And no, even the diaspora wouldn’t helped them.

Not good at all. Such is life with a lot more lyrics and it actually building up might be ok.

No please
In Poland 90% People Say that eurovision is shitty competition and many of them think that Micha? is teansgender because he paints his fingers
Poland is very closed country and if we send Micha?, eurovision will be insult again and again.
You can not imagine that after Conchita’s Victory even politics were talking about that and that wasn’t good opinions.

Is Michal transgender? When I searched him up on google, a lot of the images were of him wearing feminine clothing. Not hating/poking fun of it, just curious.

Oh please, he won’t do Eurovision in Stockholm! He’s doing the same thing as Doda one year ago – using “Eurovision” to promote his career which is, to be honest, pretty sh*tty. 🙂

‘Color of your life’ uses ‘color’ and not ‘colour’ it makes me cringe.
