The national final: Spain. The first act to perform: Maverick. The closer: Electric Nana. The objective? To get to Eurovision 2016.
This morning RTVE has revealed the running order for Objetivo Eurovisión, Spain’s national selection for Eurovision which takes place on Monday, February 1. Fan favourites Barei and Xuso Jones will perform one after the other in spots two and three, followed by “Dias de alegria” singer Salvador Beltran and “La vida solo es una” starlet Maria Isabel.
In a show with just six acts, running order is less essential than at Eurovision — where more than two dozen acts perform in the final. Surely televoters and this year’s jurors — including Loreen, Edurne and Carlos Marin — will be able to remember each act.
Spain also announced that it will broadcast both semi-finals this year, letting Eurofans see all of the competition.
Objetivo Eurovisión: The Running Order
- Maverick – Un mundo mas feliz
- Barei – Say Yay!
- Xuso Jones – Victorious
- Salvador Beltran – Dias de alegria
- Maria Isabel – La vida solo es una
- Electric Nana – Now

@Criticca it was not Ruth Lorenzo who closed the show in 2014 (I am obviously speaking about the competing songs while they were competing, not when there was a winner, in this case Ruth -if hoy consider that, well she clases the show!, but I guess it is not what you meant). Ruth sang in the third position, after Brequette and La Dama and just before Jorge Gozález and Raúl.
Maria Isabel’s song is an example of song that needs no ‘revamp’ or something like that. It’s completed dance hit. And if it makes to eurovision, no matter of placing at least we all will have fun and dance during that 3 minutes 🙂
Barei or Maria Isabel to win 🙂
Electric Nana will be closing the show just like Ruth Lorenzo did in 2014 NF!

Maria Isabel or Barei for the win!!
Xuso has charisma, has a great voice, has a natural ability to perform, but… he has a bad song.
I think the “sweish” claim is a little unfair, but it’s sterile and lacking personality. It’s Cascada all over again, which was itself a second-rate Euphoria. TBH I wasn’t huge on Loreen either (cue horror), so more clinical and kinda cynical songs with exactly the same feel are not what I want to see in Stockholm.
But, Xuso, please try again with your own sound. Not necessarily a “Spanish” sound, but definitely not this generic, impersonal one.
