“Dona” lyrics – Kaliopi (FYR Macedonia 2016)

FYR Macedonia has internally selected Eurovision veteran Kaliopi, as their act for Eurovision 2016. She’ll sing “Dona”, an emotional song about the woman that protects us all.

In the song, Kaliopi sings of thanks and praise for Dona: “For all the things that you gave me/I thank you from my heart/For the entire past”. Dona is always there for Kaliopi and is a source of strength for her, “You make me strong, you know, oh Dona”.
