Earlier this month he lived up to his Top Model potential in an ad campaign for Beats by Dr Dre.
But it’s not all about modelling headphones for Justs, as he’s just released a sizzling music video for his latest self-penned single, “Ko tu dari?” (“What are you doing”).
Justs really turns up the heat for summer, voguing and pouting with international model Barbara Roskosa, who, at various points, rides Justs’ back, gets steamy against a fence and plays with her pineapples (we’re being literal — don’t get nasty). There’s an effortlessly cool vibe to all of this, and the variety of shots and lighting effects prevent the laid-back vibe from ever becoming lethargic.

The song is as far removed from “Heartbeat” as you can get. The summery, chilled out feel contrasts sharply with the avant-garde rock styling of his Eurovision entry. It establishes Justs in his own light, moving away from the other-worldy Aminata influence that we saw in “Heartbeat”. The title line is a catchy earworm in its own right and Justs’ vocal serves adds texture and just the right amount of grit.
“Ko tu dari” isn’t the only new music coming from Justs though. Post-Eurovision, he also released a small English language EP, “To Be Heard”. The EP has two songs: the new track “Have It All”, along with the track “Fly Away”, which we saw Justs perform in both Riga and London.
It’s interesting to see Justs approaching these new releases in both languages, and wiwibloggs understands that “Ko tu dari?” will be released in English soon. He should follow the Heartbeat style, it is much more interesting than these generic new releases. He has the voice and the looks, he just need more good songs (from aminata)
