ADAL 2017 HEAT TWO

The time has come! The second heat of A Dal 2017, the national selection for Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, will take place this Saturday, January 21. Ten songs from the short-listed thirty will compete for six spots within two semi finals held in February. We are running a flash poll here at wiwibloggs and we want to know who your favourites are for the second heat. Can any of these acts go on to be the next Freddie and represent Hungary in Kyiv?

Make sure to listen to all ten songs in full below and then vote in our poll. Remember! You can vote for as many songs as you like, but you can only vote once, so choose wisely! The poll will close shortly before the second heat airs this weekend.

Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people think about worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

Father’s eyes is a song I really enjoyed listening to. Like it a lot. Jericho has a good start and then it gets boring. See it through is a nice ballad, great voice, like the piano introduction.I don’t really like Origo, it’s boring for me. Got to be a day is not my taste. Apart from that, I think it’s dated, it would be good for a couple of years ago. Hunyd Le Szemed has a nice piano intro,I like the voice, but it’s too slow for me, seems like a lullaby or sth. But in its defence, I have… Read more »

@daniel
Did you watch calidora’s live performance? She’s very bad live. With those vocals she wouldn’t even have qualified.

Totova is too similar to 1944 and is so overrated by fans. The best songs from this heat are obviously Origo and Father’s Eyes. But honestly, after Glory came last in heat 1, I’m so done with Hungary. They could have won Eurovision this year, but they blew it!

Best songs are: Kalandor, Origo and Father’s Eyes.
There are all original, well produced, and catchy.

Joci Papai and Totova should easily secure spots this semi, which I’m more hyped for than Semi-Final 1, since those 2 songs seem to be among the top favorites to win (and do well at ESC).

TOTOVA’s song is amazing. I can already see the breathtaking performance it’s going to produce. A haunting rhythm that blends modern and traditional sounds, and the stunning Hungarian language that nobody else remotely understands in Europe. A winning combination, in my opinion.

I really like Pal Benjamin’s “Father’s eyes”!! Hope he goes trought. I also like “Kalandor” and “Origo”. Totova could stand out too. I think this heat is better than Heat 1, but overall there are 5 songs more or less that could do really well at Eurovision. Also, I’m surprised about the amount of songs in Hungarian! Wish my country learns something about A dal one day, quality and variety…

My prediction for this heat (I only miss Calidora in Heat 1 😛 ):
1. Soulwave
2. Joci Papai
3. Totova
4. Pal Benjamin
5. Kyra Fedor
6. Gigi Radics

Eniko Muri’s song is amazing.
I think Gigi Radics could give a really special performance, too.

I do not see the fuss about the other entries though.

Overall much weaker than Heat One.
From the ten above I can only really get behind “Kalandor” (clearly the best) and “Origo”.

Not a fan of Totova but it’s a good song.

My favourite for this heat is Papai Joci, one of my favourites for the whole selection and of the whole Eurovision season so far!

Things look very good in this semifinal..3 are the absolute standouts for me. Soulwave’s Kalandor comes very fresh, very catchy and very radio friendly. It is perhaps the best choice they can make Origo is also a brilliant effort, extremely mystical & different while also staying modern & current Now Hosszu Idok, the big fan favourite,is by no means a bad song. The 00s ethno pop style of it is quite decent..But if it wins I wonder if we’ll have 2011 over again. My other three qualifiers would be The Couple (one of my favourites of the entire contest),Benjamin Pal & Gigi Radics (I’m expecting… Read more »

TOTOVA has to win! Kyra should also qualify for sure. I kinda like Benjámin and Soulwave too, but I’m not sure if they can both make it, because their songs sound very similar to me.
