Israel held a national selection to find the next star of Israel throughout January. The ever-so-beautiful Imri took out the title and earned the right to represent his country at Eurovision 2017. A month later he revealed his song “I Feel Alive” and it’s definitely the party song of the year. Take us to the beaches of Tel Aviv, huntie!
The song is a real club banger and it showcases Imri’s powerful vocals perfectly. The song was written by Dolev Ram and Penn Hazut and shows that it’s fun to let go of yourself and have a good time, especially when surrounded by Israel’s finest.
In “I Feel Alive”, Imri sings of a person in his life who has broken him to pieces – but in a good way. He sings “Breaking me to pieces/I wanted you to know that every piece broke from you”.
But this good break has led to Imri putting himself back together and feeling more alive for it. As he sings, “I feel alive,
