Hola chicos! The newest addition to the Eurovision Preview Party promotional circuit, the Eurovision Spain Pre-Party, takes place tonight at 22:00CET at Sala La Riviera in the sun-drenched Spanish capital Madrid.
And wiwibloggs will be right there, filming performances, grabbing interviews with your favourite artists and flooding social media with updates of all the action. A total of 21 acts from the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be in action one last time before they jet off to Kyiv.
EUROVISION SPAIN PRE-PARTY WELCOME PARTY
Last night wiwibloggs hit the Eurovision Spain Pre-Party Welcome Party at the riotous Joy Eslava.
A host of stars turned up and turned out, showing off their sexiest moves and powerful sounds in front of a well-watered crowd who made the most of the free-flowing sangria.
Portugal’s Eurovision 2014 act Suzy opened the show.
She performed her Eurovision 2014 song “Quero Ser Tua”, but this seasoned performer knows the value of playing to the home crowd.
For that reason she bulked out her set with past Spanish Eurovision hits, including Soraya’s 2009 banger “La Noche Es Para Mi” and Pastora Soler’s Thomas G:Son penned ballad, “Quedaté Conmigo”.
Also on the bill was Spanish Eurofan favourite Mirela.
She gave a spirited performance of her up tempo anthem “Contigo”, which lost out in the televote-jury deadlock in the national final to “Do It For Your Lover”.
Closing the show was 2014 national selection runner-up Brequette, who performed her song “Más (Run)” – which lost out to Ruth Lorenzo’s entry “Dancing In The Rain” on a tiebreak.
Montenegro’s Slavko also gave an impromptu performance of his Eurovision 2017 entry “Space”.
When you see an opportunity to take the stage, shoot for the stars y’all!
Be sure to follow all of the action on our Instagram and Twitter accounts (that’s @wiwibloggs) and on the wiwibloggs YouTube channel at wiwi.tv. The interviews and performances will be rolling out tonight and tomorrow. Vamanos!
