And where other Eurovision stars see their careers whither and die post contest, Måns Zelmerlöw has gone from strength to strength, notching up European tours, releasing two new albums and becoming a grandfather to puppiesNow, fresh from the international success of his last album Chameleon, which included the platinum-selling single “Fire In The Rain”, Måns has put out a new single “We Can Be The Rulers”.

The surprise release is dedicated to Swedish Olympic gold-medal winner Sarah Sjöström and soundtracks a short behind-the-scenes film focusing on the singer released by Genuine Heroes.

The 12-part project, sponsored by Swedish gambling company Betsson, will highlight Swedish sporting stars and aims to inspire young people to follow in their footsteps.

Gushing about the collaboration on his Instagram page, Måns hailed Sjöström as Sweden’s “biggest sports star” and wished her good luck at the World Championships in Budapest, where Sjöström broke the world record in the 50 metres freestyle.

The Swedish stud – who competed at Melodifestivalen in 2007, 2009 and 2015 – hasn’t been shy in sharing summer snaps on his Instagram page either.

As well as sharing an adorable photo with his new puppy Rafa, the son of his beloved hound Messi, Måns has also taken fans behind the scenes of his vacations.

In a post yesterday that received over 30,000 likes, the Swedish star revealed he’s taken to the high seas and is sailing around the picturesque coast of Croatia.

Pretty listenable song he has made and good to see that dedictation. Didn’t expect from myself to like it, but since I still remember he rocked on EL finals I should be prepared. He’s fine live also.
