After Lea Sirk said “Hvala, ne!” to her competitors as Slovenia‘s Eurovision 2018 act, broadcaster RTV Slovenija has revealed the full semi-final results of EMA 2018, which took place on February 17.
We already know a 50/50 combination of televoting and a six-category jury panel was used in the final. For the semi-final itself, the four acts with the highest televotes qualified, followed by another four ranked next highest under the jury votes.
EMA 2018 semi-final jury panel
Two of Slovenia’s former Eurovision representatives were part of a seven-member jury panel involved at both semi-finals, Hannah Mancini from 2013 and Maja Keuc from 2011 — now known as Amaya.

Can we also get the voting numbers of the final? They must have been higher than in the semis, which seem very, very low.
I’ve included the voting numbers on the final itself and at €0.63 per vote, it ain’t cheap hence the rather low number of votes.
So 7/8 of juries Top 8 make it and only 5/8 of televoters! This is not a fair distribution
Weird voting system. Looks like it was almost designed to specifically keep Nika Zorjan out of the final.
Nika would’ve qualified if the juries had their say first before the televoters.
OFF-TOPIC: Aisel will release her Eurovision entry on the 4th March, this Sunday.
Additionally, Eugent Bushpepa is currently in Belgium for recording the revamped version of Mall. I listened to a snippet, and it seems like the rock part is lost, or not that strong as in the first version.
Is there a link to this snippet?
Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH2cj8GLR34
And since this was still being revamped at the time the video was made, the snippet heard is certainly not yet the final mixed version.
OFF TOPIC: Is the UK revamping, yes or no because I’ve been checking BBC radio 2 and surie’s twitter page i can’t find any key information, i just cant trust reality snaps
Can SOMEONE answer me
PLEASE
THANK YOU
AND ALSO TELL ME WHERE YOU GOT THE SOURCE
Yes they are, I’ve seen it a couple times in articles on Wiwibloggs and Eurovisionary I think
Juries suck
nika was beyond robbed, she could of got Slovenia their best result, but oh well??
True!
Nika was so close. Robbed 🙁
EMA 2018 was I guess one of the few selections where jury was NOT useless or tasteless. Because I’m pretty sure that BBQ got that many votes only because “OMG wronged last year”.
Spill that tea, once again. We had the rightful winner (among the finalists).
