We’ve reached the fourth and final heat of Lithuania’s Eurovizijos atranka 2019 as the remaining 11 participants — or should that be 10? — took to the stage to perform for both the jury and public vote.
And after finishing second in last week’s heat with her first entry “Criminal”, Monika Marija returned to compete with her second entry “Light On”. Luck was on her side as she won the heat, picking up maximum points from both the juries and the televoters.
Joining Monika for the upcoming two semi-finals are Henry & Tommy Modric with “Neverpart”, Soliaris & Foreign Souls with “Song of My Life”, Saulės kliošas with “Laiko mašina”, Živilė Gedvilaitė with “Learn from Your Love” and Alen Chicco with “Your Cure”.

If Light On win the whole thing, Lithuania will be and stay in my Top 10 of ESC this year
Light On is better in my eyes and I am pretty sure that Monika Marija would be the best choice for Lithuania, however I’m afraid she’s shooting herself in the foot, because both of her songs are definitely making it to the final, so her fans will be splitting their votes and not getting the most votes that she can. Saul?s Kliošas had a good song. I liked their last one better, because imo the verses in “Laiko mašina” are a bit lackluster, but the chorus is very nice and inviting. Light on is decent but Criminal is better in my opinion, I’m surprsied Light On did better.
